TELECARE CORPORATION MENTAL HEALTH WORKER Telecare's mission is to deliver excellent and effective behavioral health services that engage individuals with complex needs in recovering their health, hopes, and dreams. Gladman is licensed as a 40-bed Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) providing sub-acute psychiatric treatment to adults 18 and older. Shifts Available: AM Shift 7:00am to 3:30pm * Short- Hour .6; AM Shift * Days vary as needed * NOC shift 11 pm to 7:30 am * Full-Time 1.0; NOC shift * Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday Minimum Compensation: $21.7875 Hourly STATEMENT OF PURPOSE We exist to help people with mental impairments realize their full potential. POSITION OBJECTIVE The Mental Health Worker is the treatment team member who is responsible for providing care to meet the physical and psychological needs of clients through providing direct and indirect services. QUALIFICATIONS One (1) year of experience with nursing an/or psychiatric clients in a clinic, hospital or a long-term care facility is preferred. Knowledge of basic psychiatric and nursing skills, including nursing interventions is essential. Certification as a CNA or its equivalent is acceptable documentation of nursing skills knowledge. A High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required. Good communication skills and a desire to work with severely mentally impaired adults is crucial. Incumbents must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and be proficient in reading, speaking and writing English. Applicant must be finger printed, sign under penalty of perjury that there has been no conviction of any crime, other than minor traffic offenses, and receive clearance from the Department of Justice. POSITION OBJECTIVE The Housekeeper is the staff member that performs tasks that involve cleaning and servicing the building areas of the facility. In addition, a variety of housekeeping duties are performed in order to maintain the facility in an orderly, sanitary and attractive condition. QUALIFICATIONS One (1) year of housekeeping experience in a hospital, hotel, motel or similar work setting is required.
