JOB TITLE: Lead Critical Facilities Technician REPORTS TO: Facility Manager RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the development of new hire and ongoing training materials and programs to include the following areas: Qual Card, SNOW, eMaintenance, BMS, procedure compliance, QA/QC, and procedural approvals. Working with the Facility Manager, coordinate and manage team schedules, PTO and shift swaps. Oversee and coordinate all Customer Service (SNOW). Responsible for all site prevention maintenance and contract coordination along with delegation and monitoring of work orders and PM's status and completion quality (eMaintenance). Working with the Facility Manager, support all construction projects and activities including: CR's, safety, risk mitigation and project handoff procedures. Maintains, monitors, and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment. Leads will support all areas to include operation and maintenance of multiple components within the HVAC system, plumbing installation/maintenance, generator operations, fire detection and suppression, life safety, temperature control systems, building management systems, and digital systems (including fire alarm, duress, card access, CCTV). Leads will support all areas to include plan, implement, coordinate and supervision of all electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management programs for a critical facilities environment. Ensure conformance with all Change control development, approvals, and execution. Scheduling, development and quality assurance for all preventive maintenance, contracted maintenance, general maintenance. Routinely performs all work in strict accordance with governing MOP/SOP/ERP procedures, and maintenance work instructions. Operates and monitors critical and non-critical system equipment and components. Oversees work efforts (including 3rd party contractors) for safe and compliant operation, maintenance (corrective and preventive), and modification of critical equipment. Disables and enables fire alarm control panels and systems. Receive and execute work orders for preventative and corrective maintenance on critical systems and building physical structure. Consult with Facility Manager or Supervisor to order necessary materials to complete all maintenance and perform necessary work. Finalize work orders by completing necessary documentation in the computerized maintenance management system. Respond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns. Monitors building operations and tours properties periodically during scheduled shift. Receives work order for Preventative and Corrective maintenance on electrical systems and building physical structure. Consult with supervisors and staff as appropriate to identify and order necessary materials to complete all maintenance and perform necessary work. Finalize work orders by completing necessary documentation. Understand the engineering design and operational aspects of all electrical systems. Evaluate, assign, and monitor the safe work responsibilities and safety procedures capabilities of employees and contractors. Respond quickly to emergency situations, develop, and communicate and improve ADC's processes to ensure continuous improvement and innovation. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma and minimum 3-5 years' experience in electrical or mechanical critical facilities support; or 7+ years' experience as HVAC or mechanical technician. Electrical/Mechanical certifications preferred. Able to work overtime and longer shifts if needed at the site (greater than 12 hours) Computer skills required: MS Office. Proficiency with hand tools and basic machine shop equipment (mill, lathe, drill press, etc). Willingness to travel within the US, Canada, and overseas on short notice. Comfort working with chemicals and cleaning solvents associated with machine repair. Experience with dynamic balancing equipment, lathe operation, and manual milling. Fluent in English (verbal and written). Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Service-minded with excellent problem-solving skills. We specialize in engineering. construction and project management. Our team works seamlessly across the country to maintain coaxial and fiber optic networks. We're currently seeking a skilled Coax Splicer to join our growing team. Position Summary: The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in coax splicing, testing, and troubleshooting, with the knowledge and ability to work safely on aerial plant. This role requires a strong understanding of coaxial cable systems and the physical ability to use bucket trucks, and work at heights. Regional focus for this role is the Mid-Atlantic however our Coax Splicers report to projects across the country when needed. The regional warehouse is located in Woodsboro, MD and Coax Splicers are expected to report as needed for meetings or supplies, but may be dispatched weekly from home to broadband project locations through out the Mid- Atlantic states/ Beltway area and as need elsewhere. Ability to read construction prints and plant documentation Experience with system upgrades, node splits, or new build projects Valid drivers license with clean driving record. Pre-placement and ongoing requirements include a background check, drug screening, DOT physical to obtain a medical certification and a Motor Vehicle Record check. Willingness to work in all weather conditions and travel as needed Strong work ethic and commitment to safety Preferred Qualifications: OSHA 10/30 certification Knowledge of fiber optic splicing (a plus)

The ideal candidate will have expertise in installing, splicing and terminating shielded medium voltage power cables (5KV to 35KV). Responsibilities: Cable Splicing and Termination: Perform splicing and termination of shielded medium voltage power cables using hand-applied tape applications, separable connectors, and pre-manufactured kits, including pre-molded, heat-shrink, and cold-shrink technologies. Ensure accurate and secure connections to support the reliable operation of electrical systems Project Execution: Collaborate with project teams to execute cable splicing and termination activities efficiently. Qualifications: Certifications: Hold a valid Certificate from the National Cable Splicing Termination Board (NCSCB) for splicing and terminating shielded medium voltage power cables (Preferred). Confined space training is preferred. Experience: Proven experience as a Medium Voltage Cable Splicer with a focus on safety and precision. Familiarity with a variety of splicing techniques and technologies. Education: High school diploma or GED. Completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is advantageous. Skills: Strong attention to detail and precision in cable splicing activities. Proficient use of various tools associated with cable work including cable tuggers, rigging, hydraulic crimp tools and cutters, calipers, and knives/stripping tools Ability to read and comprehend construction drawings Excellent problem-solving skills.
