Job purpose
We are looking for a Field Heavy Equipment Mechanic to Join our growing team and help drive our customer service goals and objectives in the Field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Field Heavy Equipment service and support, have a commitment to Safety and desire to provide first class customer service.
Duties and responsibilities
* Ensures a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures. Maintains a clean, organized work are free from Safety issues and concerns.
* Utilizes a variety of techniques and tools to inspect, assess, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic malfunctions on a variety of heavy equipment applications
* Maintains accurate reports and information on equipment and repairs to ensure accurate billing and service logs.
* Overhauls and tests machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency
* Tests mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer's specifications
* Brings to the attention of the shop manager any additional work required on unit or visible signs of damage including out of service conditions and safety hazards.
* Cleans, lubricates, and performs preventative maintenance work on equipment and vehicles as required
* Keeps abreast of all changes in various models of equipment sold and serviced by the distributors to maintain and upgrade technical competencies and knowledge through in-house and external training sources.
* Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* Must have a CDL B License
* High School diploma and graduation from an accredited technical school in diesel engine/hydraulics/heavy equipment repair preferred but not required.
* Experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic required.
* Must have own tools.
* Volvo and/or other dealership or industry experience preferred.
* Skill in the use of a variety of diagnostic testing and tuning equipment.
* Working experience with computer systems and maintenance software preferred
* Advanced technical software application understanding with relevant industry experience highly desired.
* Strong organizational and customer service skills to ensure high level customer service
* Ability to work overtime when required
* Have excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Working conditions
* Lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and/or pulling; climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant finger dexterity necessary.
* Ability to lift 70 lbs.
* Ability to operate a forklift safely.
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment WorkSTEPS physical.
* Requires passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen to the satisfaction of Power Equipment Company.
* This position is exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, and moderate noise levels.

As a Pre-Installation and Test Check-Out (PITCO) Field Service Engineer II, you will work with a team of other technicians performing IT systems lab configuration and testing on a modernized IT system for U.S. Army installations worldwide.
This work involves installing closed-circuit television, desktop computing systems and peripherals, cabling (including termination) and rack-mounted equipment for U.S. Army installations world-wide. Your position may be assisted by other technicians, and you will have frequent contact with professionals and others within the establishment; you will perform typical duties as follows:
Review documents in ServiceNow
Apply asset tags to hardware
Work with warehouse personnel to transfer equipment to/from PITCO
Update asset management database
Configure hardware
Stage, power up, and interconnect hardware
Install software image and apply settings
Analyze and resolve technical issues related to VMS end points
Monitor the burn in of hardware
Complete test plans and checklist
Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware and software video management systems and network devices.
Repack hardware and palletize for shipping
Create transfer orders in asset management database
Provide progress report on PITCO testing
Understand termination of Cat 5e/6 using T568B color code standard

Ability to perform basic administrative tasks (daily status report, close-out documents, timekeeping) in a timely manner.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
High School Degree or GED equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer (or equivalent work experience).
1 years of experience with installation of closed-circuit television, video management systems, Windows server and Windows 11 operating systems, and Internet Protocol networking.
Able to pass a National Agency Check (NACI).
Maybe required to travel for work and be able to work outside of normal business hours up to 10%.
A U.S. Citizen.
Additional desired experience and skills:
Experience with Genetec software, including its various modules and functions.
Military background.

SUMMARY
The Fiber To The Home Network Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing all aspects of the fiber network from the OTL cabinet to the passive network devices, including all PON nodes and their associated power supplies; assists with troubleshooting, and is responsible for all maintenance/repairs to the network. The FTTH Network Technician supports outside plant, fiber optics, telecommunication architectures, and optical transport equipment and must have working knowledge of structured cabling.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
What will you be doing?
Daily support and maintenance of FTTH network - including maintenance and support of aerial and buried fiber network (carrier fiber networks, infrastructure, backbone, and lateral builds)
ISP knowledge / experience
Network electronics (troubleshooting and maintenance)
Battery-plant replacement, support, and maintenance
Data center environment support (troubleshooting and maintenance)
After hour support: respond to network outages, emergency restoration activities, and in support of maintenance activity
Assist in support of management of construction crews (inspect and assure construction work quality and crew safety)
Performing installation, testing, and commissioning of network equipment
Troubleshooting system failures and outages on the network and working to restore services in an expeditious manner

The Service Technician is an integral part of the customer journey post installation. They focus on partnering with customers to inspect and service preexisting company installed foundation repair and water management solutions. The Service Technician supports our customers with additional solutions options and needs.

Job Responsibilities
Execute appointments scheduled with customers
Travel to customers' home based on assigned appointments
Build long-term relationships with customers and professionally represent the company
Recommend additional products and services to enhance or improve original installation or to remedy a potential issue through established processes and procedures
Perform annual customer maintenance visits, examining work previously completed
Perform reactive service appointments, diagnose, and fix any issues
Install additional products purchased by the customer as necessary
Adhere to safety regulations and procedures when carrying out responsibilities
Examine solutions installed by the company and determine potential warranty or non-warranty work
Communicate the status of each job (completions and complications) and submit all necessary documentation to the Service Manager and customer as required
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
1 or more years of proven sales experience preferred but not required
Construction/Home Improvement experience preferred
Proven customer relations experience preferred
High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
A valid, non-restrictive Driver's License is required

Job DescriptionFiber Splicer Department: Outside Plant Reports To: Project Manager We're looking for a Fiber Splicer to join our growing Outside Plant team. The Fiber Splicer is responsible for the installation, splicing, and testing of fiber optic cable to support the delivery of high-speed internet and communication services to residential customers. This role plays a critical part in the construction and activation of Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) networks. The Fiber Splicer must be skilled in handling single-mode and multi-mode fiber and conducting OTDR and power meter testing to ensure high-performance connections. The position requires both field and occasional indoor work, including working in handholes, pedestals, enclosures, and central offices or cabinets. A strong understanding of industry safety standards, construction drawings, and network documentation is essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform prep and fusion of single-mode or multi-mode fiber optic cables
Place and test jumpers in communication cabinets
Properly dress aerial and underground cabling and place mid-sheath splices & butt splices
Test and troubleshoot fiber using an OTDR, optical power meter, fiber identifier and scope
Perform installation and testing of fiber cross connects
Work flexible hours as needed and on-call rotation which may include nights and weekends
Work with Project Manager, Construction Manager and Fiber Engineer to perform splicing as directed
Train on and safely operate bucket truck with supervision
Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic that can provide high productivity with minimal supervision
