**The Role**
+ Install, maintain, and upgrade wireless network equipment, including antennas, radios, coax, fiber, and supporting hardware
+ Conduct tower climbing and work at heights to install or service cell site components
+ Perform site surveys, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of wireless systems
+ Terminate and test fiber and coaxial cables
+ Interpret RF diagrams, site drawings, and construction documents

Requirements

+ Understanding of RF principles, microwave systems, and IP networking basics is preferred
+ Ability to read blueprints, construction drawings, and RF schematics
+ Proficient with basic hand tools, power tools, and test equipment (PIM/Sweep testing, fiber testers, etc.)
+ OSHA 10/30, RF Awareness, and Climbing Certification strongly preferred (or willing to obtain upon hire)
+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
+ Experience working with major carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Dish, etc.) a plus
+ Familiarity with Ericsson, Nokia, or Samsung equipment a plus
+ Experience with C-RAN, small cell deployments, or fiber backhaul preferred

The Opportunity

Sets up emergency communications centers for operation by County departments.

We are seeking a Full-Time entry level Cable Technician. This position focuses on quality control, repairing, and order fulfillment of copper cables. Training for this position will also include the introduction or fiber optic cables. We prefer a person with some experience in a similar environment, and we are willing to train.
This position is Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm, on-site at our Van Nuys, CA facility. The wage is $18-20 per hour based on experience. There may be a need for overtime to accommodate our clients' schedules which could include Saturdays on occasion.
Key Duties Include:
Build and maintain all types of copper cable (BNC, XLR, CAT-5, AC, DT-12, Triax, LMR etc.).
Soldering, terminating and crimping cables as required.
Responsible for pulling cable packages for outbound orders.
Works with cable lead to organize and maintain accurate quantities.
Document and track missing and damaged cable.
Provide on-site support to the engineering group as needed.
Locate equipment in the building when it has been lost or misplaced.
Forecast cable needs for future orders.
Will be trained on UBS R2 Software.
Organization and cleanliness of cable area.
On-call rotation once trained.
Requirements:
Strong and effective communication skills.
Willingness to take on new challenges and proactive problem solving, consistently meeting commitments made to internal and external customers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
Self-motivated and resourceful.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Forklift and Pallet jack experience preferred by not required.
Maintain clean and organized work area.
Knowledge of UBS R2 software a plus

Park Decorators fabricate decorations and sets for the Knott's Berry Farm resort, Knott's Berry Farm Hotel and Soak City For the various seasonal events throughout the year. As well as decorate restaurants, rides and merchandise locations on the resort. Park Decorator roles may include and is not limited to one of the following positions: Window Display Designer/Installer, Floral Design, Scenic Painting, or Seasonal Holiday Decorator.
Salary Details: $26.86 / hr
Responsibilities:
Daily inspection and Maintenance of Permanent installations of the resort.
Daily inspection of Current seasonal décor installed in the resort.
Fabricate new décor for seasonal events.
Refurbish existing décor for seasonal events.
Inventory and maintain shop.
Install décor for seasonal events.
Strike décor for seasonal events.
Qualifications:
High school diploma / GED required.
Associate's degree / vocational or technical school degree, emphasis in Theatrical Design/visual Display preferred.
At least 1-2 years of prior, relevant work experience preferred.
User of basic hand tools and power tools, glues and adhesives. Floral design helpful. Ability to sketch and convey design concepts. Basic Scenic painting skills preferred.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holiday based on business needs.
