Shift available: Monday-Friday 8A-4:30P Functions * Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed equipment, Assist with maintenance and repair of production equipment. * Ensure the efficient and prompt handling of all department work orders and requests. * Assembling and plumbing piping and duct work. * Troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical equipment. * Handling Chemicals used for semiconductor and electronics manufacturing. * Respond to emergencies. * Assist as required in cooperation with all personnel in the performance of general day-to-day duties and responsibilities. * Other duties as assigned. * Be available on call to respond to emergency situations pertaining to the System failure, water leaks, etc. Qualifications * Formal technical apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience. * Continuing education or vocational training preferred. * LME Electrician License preferred. * Training in CPR and/or First-Aid is desired. * Ability to operate a forklift. * Ability to read drawings and blueprints. * Hands-On experience with one or more of the following systems: HVAC, Ultrapure Water, Gas Distribution, Chemical Distribution, Waste Treatment, electrical, Life Safety Systems. * Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools. * Able to move and lift up to 50LB. * Basic knowledge of handling chemicals and the ability to understand SDS. * Experience with a computer-based software and building control systems preferred. * Communicate effectively both orally and writing. * Maintain detailed and accurate reports. * Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented. * Establish and maintain a good working relationship with contractors. * Comply with all safety procedures and requirements.
