Jr. Electrical Field Techs at our Eastview Service Center will be responsible for a variety of work tasks including but not limited to: Programming and repairing controllers for vacuum recloser switches (VRS), Installation & repair of control circuits for automatic transfer switches (ATS), step voltage regulators, and pole mounted capacitors. Additionally, Field techs will conduct high potential testing of aerial lift devices and reinforced fiber glass plastic tools along with conducting infrared inspections of overheard power lines. Required Education/Experience * High School Diploma/GED and 2 years relevant technical experience or * Associate's Degree In Electrical Technology or equivalent degree Preferred Education/Experience * Associate's Degree In Electrical Technology or equivalent degree Relevant Work Experience * Working knowledge of Basic AC and DC electrical power theory and circuit analysis, including 3 phase AC power systems. Required * Knowledgeable in mathematics and are able to learn to perform calculations involving basic trigonometry and vector analysis. Job Overview: Assists nursing and surgical staff with direct patient care activities. Assumes responsibility for providing technical assistance in the environment of the operating room. Plans and evaluates care provided. Assists in the delivery of quality patient care through utilization of technical skills. Performs technical duties relating to scrub personnel, including smooth, precise, and efficient reaction to all situations, and assists with departmental work as assigned. Participates in staff, patient and/or family education to a degree consistent with personal knowledge base. Participates in unit PI activities.
