Key Responsibilities: Install and terminate Category 6, 6A, and fiber optic cabling systems. Build out cable pathways, including ladder racks, J-hooks, and cable tray. Construct and configure IT rooms, including racks, patch panels, and cable management. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings. Operate lifts and climb ladders safely to perform overhead work. Perform repetitive lifting of materials and equipment up to 50 lbs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Qualifications: Formal training or certification in structured cabling installation. Certifications include: IBEW JATC Apprenticeship Completion, BICSI Technician, BICSI Installer, and/or professional training/certificate at an accredited school.
