Who We Are: Lutheran Hospital is a community-based, acute-care hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. It includes Lutheran Hospice Center and Lutheran Spine Center at Denver West.
Lutheran Hospital began in 1905 as the Evangelical Lutheran Sanitarium, a tent colony for tuberculosis patients. As medical advances diminished the demand for tuberculosis treatment, community leaders decided the center should meet a new need. Community-based Lutheran Hospital, a not-for-profit, general medical facility located on a 100-acre campus, opened its doors in 1961.
Our new Lutheran Hospital campus at Clear Crossing in Wheat Ridge opened its doors on August 3rd. Construction on the six-story replacement hospital started in 2021 and provides a state-of-the-art care site in the West Denver suburbs.
Essential Functions:
Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech, according to Angio lab policies and procedures and Scope of Practice documents.
Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.
Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment for patients and staff.
Develops specific knowledge about invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies, appropriate indications and applications, and proper use and deployment techniques.
Follows appropriate protocol for medical necessity, coding and charging, obtaining necessary consents, maintaining applicable QC (Quality Control) programs, and reporting any equipment failures or problems.
Provides appropriate patient education, ensures patient comfort, and address patient and/or family concerns.
Keeps accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions or incidents.
Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other patient care providers following procedure.
At the end of the procedure, suture the sheath in place, or remove the sheath and apply pressure to obtain hemostasis.
Performs advanced interventional procedures including ablation procedures, stents, thrombectomy, embolization.
Orient new angio staff, provide teaching, coaching, mentoring and provide direct supervision as a defined preceptor.
Proctors other staff including specialized equipment and procedural techniques.
Qualifications:

**The Role**
The position interacts with Lumen customers professionally and courteously, remotely or in person to review and discuss service order requirements. **Location and Schedule**
This is a full time position located in Thornton, CO. The schedule is an 8-hour shift typically between 7:00am - 7:00pm. When required, there is mandatory overtime up to 8 hours/week. May also require weekends and holidays.

+ Install, maintain/repair, remove, rearrange, program, test, and troubleshoot residential/small business products and services, including but not limited to POTS, HSI, Networking, and fiber from the cross-connect or serving terminal into the customer's premise.
+ Set up, reconfigure, maintain, and troubleshoot customer's wireless/wired home network, including but not limited to wireless modems; LAN peripherals such as Wii; printers; IPTV; and other wired and wireless communication devices linked into the home network.
+ Complete various splicing connections on new and existing cable, fiber, wire and connects wires and cables to terminals, and attach/detach various kinds of hardware to wires and cables. This includes cabling various electronic components (e.g., routers, computers, TVs, stereo systems, and home entertainment systems) and installing/maintaining/repairing inside wiring and jacks.
+ Utilizes hand tools, power tools, and specialty tools, including test equipment (i.e., VFL, ONX, OTDR) and/or laptop computer to install or repair and confirm product/service functioning properly, to troubleshoot and take appropriate action, and/or to coordinate repair and service issues with the applicable test center or other designated employees.
+ Read and interpret customer service orders, repair tickets, technical (i.e., mechanical, electrical, digital) drawings, maps, blueprints, diagrams, etc., and perform specified work.

* Repair or splice in new line as needed to complete the testing and certification of the project.
* Install all passive and active devices, enclosures, and term panels.

Pull fiber optic through existing duct package, pull cable through conduit either manually, blowing, or mechanically, and splice and activate underground and aerial lines.
* Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity.
* Utilize light meters and OTDR accurately.
* Learn how to safely utilize bucket trucks or climb utility poles to place cables on poles per system design.

* Cleans, dusts, and sweeps offices, locker room, restrooms, and breakroom.
* Cleans public computers, keyboards, and computer mouse devices as needed.
* Mops, vacuums, shampoos, steam cleans, waxes, and polishes floors and carpets.
* Performs light snow and ice removal as needed.
* Replaces light bulbs, batteries, restocks restroom supplies as necessary.
* Sweeps interior and exterior building(s) main entrance(s).
* Checks all restrooms every 2 hours or more as needed for cleanliness and to restock supplies.
* Uses various tools and equipment in the performance of custodial and maintenance tasks: including but not limited to small manual tools, long-handled tools, applicators, and mobile cleaning equipment. Performs minor maintenance and repairs on equipment.
* Replenishes and maintains inventory of cleaning supplies.
* Orders and maintains inventory of cleaning supplies.
* Restocks supplies as needed.
* Keeps building(s) in good condition and working order.
* Remains generally alert to building conditions indicating anticipated or needed repairs and reports such conditions to supervisor.
* Takes proper safety precautions, anticipates unsafe circumstances, and acts accordingly to prevent accidents. Responsible for the safety of self, others, materials, and equipment. Uses all required safety equipment and follows all safety regulations, policies, and procedures. Reports all accidents and damage to City property.
* Performs related duties as required to meet the needs of the city
* Responsible for knowing and complying with all City and department policies.
* Participates in professional trainings and development; and
* Adheres to attendance and workplace attire policies.
* Transports vehicles to support vehicle maintenance.
* Performs landscape lawn maintenance.
* Cleans up grounds around city Buildings.
* Power washing.
MINIMUM QAULIFICATIONS:
* Ability to demonstrated reliable work habits.
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
* Valid driver's license and ability to maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record.
* Have and maintain acceptable background information, including criminal conviction history. Must be able to pass and maintain at least a level one Criminal Justice information System (CJIS) Certification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience with an industrial or janitorial firm and thorough knowledge of custodial materials and methods.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* High School diploma or GED

WORKING CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
* Ability to lift and move items weighing 50lbs or more.
* Ability to climb ladder.
* Ability to use machines and equipment used in custodial operations.
* Willingness and ability to work alternate shift schedules, irregular hours, extended shift hours, weekends, evenings, holidays, stand-by rotation, and/or emergencies as required.
* May be required to work evening and/or weekends to provide backup during the absence of other custodial staff.
