Responsibilities: Receive, process, coordinate, and execute cable locate requests for all proposed excavation areas to identify buried or underground government telecommunications cables. Conduct physical site inspections and locate cable paths using contractor-furnished GPS equipment with accuracy to within 1 meter, and mark cable paths using inverted fluorescent orange paint and/or stakes. Travel is a key component of this role, with up to 75% travel required. Specific Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Install, service, and repair SSL and PSL machinery at customer locations. Troubleshoot and resolve technical equipment failures via phone support and on-site visits. Provide customer training on equipment operation. Conduct testing and root cause analysis to ensure effective problem-solving. Provide technical feedback to improve products. Complete preventative maintenance and functional inspections. Maintain service logs and internal records in accordance with American Fuji Technical Services policies. Follow Health and Human Services, Environmental Health, and Safety requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned in an accurate and timely manner. Qualifications Strong electrical and mechanical background with the ability to read blueprints and electrical documentation. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization. Ability to manage tasks and projects with minimal guidance. Willingness and ability to travel 80-100%, with flexibility for weekday and weekend travel. Ability to train on-site for 3-6 months before traveling independently Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Rockwell & Siemens) and networking. Familiarity with packaging equipment. Bachelor's degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering preferred. 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or field service role. Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required. Education and Experience: Associate degree in a related technical field (Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation) required. Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering preferred. 3-5 years of related experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support. Physical Demands: Sitting, walking, climbing, and standing required. Lifting up to 50 pounds, along with pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, and crouching may be required.
