Duties/ Responsibilities: • Perform scheduled maintenance (500-hour, 1000-hour, 2000-hour, etc.) on Manitowoc friction cranes and hydraulic cranes. • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues; determine root causes and corrective actions. • Maintain schedules for crane lubrication, service wire rope systems, boom hoist assemblies, undercarriage components, system pressure, flow, temperature, and fluid sampling programs. • Utilize mechanical and hydraulic schematics to pinpoint failures. • Report unsafe conditions, defects, or potential failures. • Troubleshoot load indication, limit switches, and control systems on friction and hydraulic cranes. • Conduct pre-operation inspections and assist operators with technical support. • Accurately complete service reports, inspection forms, and work orders. • Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and supervisors • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and labor hours. • Communicate effectively with owners, inspectors, engineers, and company leadership. • Ensure all maintenance complies with Manitowoc OEM standards and OSHA regulations. • Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and consumables. • Perform other related duties as assigned.
