Position Description:
Installs intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control security systems.
Run electrical wiring in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined spaces, which can include drilling, trenching and aerial runs.
Complete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations ensuring that security systems are complete and satisfy customer and contractual requirements.
Assists and interfaces with the Installation Team Lead or Project Manager regarding on-site scheduling of work activities and timely delivery of equipment.
Conducts tests to ensure all newly installed systems and component devices are operational.
Troubleshoots new system installations to ensure proper functioning and to ensure system meets local, county, state or federal codes; legal and/or insurance requirements.
Presents a professional image both in personal and vehicle appearance.
Performs work assignments in a safe manner and within specified cost limits.
Promotes, builds, and maintains good customer relations and assists with contract retention.
Maintains company propriety and documentation in accordance with established policies; handles proprietary information in the prescribed manner; adheres to and supports Securitas Electronic Security policies and procedures including all safety requirements.
Keeps abreast of changes and new developments in products and technology. Attends and completes training programs as requested.
Job Requirements:
MUST HOLD 3 or more years' experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred.
NICET Certification preferred.
Lenel, Pro-Watch, Software House, Picture Perfect certifications preferred.
Bosch, Honeywell, Radionics, or DMP system knowledge preferred.
Edwards/EST, Simplex, or GE/Mirtone system knowledge preferred.
IP Video and IT experience preferred.

Responsibilities
The Cable Splicer is required to travel (domestic and foreign) extensively in performance of their job. Major duties of the shipboard Cable Splicer include but are not limited to, the construction of cable joints, maintenance and repair of jointing equipment, jointing inventory control, replenishment of materials, assist in the Cable Control Room, cable handling, and post operation reporting.
The Cable Splicer will ensure that their training records are kept current, supervise CAB Splicer Jointer Assistants, perform quality self-inspections of the jointing and splicing processes, and certify the over molded product through x-ray examination. the Cable Splicer shall ensure that all jointing equipment is in working order and that materials are adequate for the task at hand. Work could be performed ashore as well as aboard cable ships or barges with various duties for jointing and cable operations.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Perform measuring, analyzing and correcting or compensating for combat system element pointing errors, roller-path inclination errors between Combat System Elements, Navigation Gyro pitch, roll and heading errors.
Provide technical analysis during adjusting and zeroing electro-mechanical devices (synchro, encoders, etc.) and lasers used to transmit and receive position information.

Capability to work flexible hours along with MARMC's Combat System Alignment Team. Shipboard alignments shall be required to do shift work with most of the work being performed at night (2130 to 0600) and Sunday evening through Friday morning in the normal workweek. These efforts may require rapid results in a stressful environment to meet ship's mission requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements:
At least 8 years' experience and ability to use and maintain star references, theodolites, use of lasers, precision scales, and other equipment used to acquire measure and verify all manner of shore and shipboard reference points and lines.
The ability to function in various alignment team roles such as instrument person, team leader, report writer, data recorder, data base entry and Analog/Digital Inclination Data System operator. This experience should be applicable to working with Combat System Alignments on various classes of Navy and Coast Guard ships and submarines.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain security clearance and clearing necessary background checks/assessments as required. Active Security Clearance will be required, and current Security Clearance is desired.
Physical requirements for efficient navigation aboard US Navy ships includes possessing the physical stamina, strength, agility, and endurance to walk continuously for extended periods of time without experiencing significant fatigue, adequate upper and lower-body strength necessary to climb ladders, stairs, ramps, and work aloft, and agility necessary to enter/exit confined spaces (tanks, voids, and spaces/compartments with manhole access).

+ Provide written visit debrief and written reports

+ Provide On-The-Job Training to the ship's force during shipboard evolutions
+ Demonstrated ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams, and sketches
**Minimum Requirements** :
+ Five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years in the assessment, repair, and maintenance of tanks, voids, spaces/compartments, and topside areas on US Navy ships
+ Three (3) years of specialized hands-on experience working and inspecting ship tanks, voids, and spaces/compartments
+ Demonstrated knowledge of welding requirements as defined in MIL Standard 1689 & IAW MRCs G1N5 & G1N6

+ Must show technical experience in the field of preservation and/or structural/coatings assessments
