Job DescriptionDescription: ASCC, Inc. an Information Technologies System Integrator is seeking individuals for Structured Cabling Systems Installation positions. People assigned to this position travel to various customer locations installing Data, Voice and Video cabling, performing terminations, testing and troubleshooting cabling in support of information technologies systems. This position is considered an entry position with our Physical Plant Integration Group. As a core discipline it requires people with skill sets in construction who are familiar with and proficient with hand tools and power tools. This is an opportunity to learn and gain experience at the fundamental level of integrating Structured Cabling Systems (SCS). Training is provided and advancement is available for those who chose to pursue a career path in this field. A full benefits package is offered to our regular full-time employees. Requirements: Qualified candidates must: · Have a valid drivers' license and a safe driving record · Have the ability to lift 50 pounds · Have the ability to climb ladders · Have the ability to work at heights that could exceed 40 feet · Be willing and able to travel to customer sites away from the Pittsburgh area for a four to five days at a time · Have a background and aptitude in construction or field related work. · Must be able to pass Act 34 and Act 151 PA Background checks · Ability to distinguish the full spectrum of colors in order to work with color coded wiring · Must be willing to work in tobacco free environments · Must be able to work independently · Must be able to communicate with customers and project managers · Must be capable of working with a team or self motivated to work alone
