Job Description Facilities Technician Organization: Lufthansa Technik Puerto Rico (LTPR) Responsible for welding, repairs, preventive maintenance of facilities and general equipment, for the maintenance, operation, and general installations in the facilities. Support the Facilities Department in capital improvements projects. Essential Responsibilities Inspect the conditions, operation, and performance of facilities and equipment, including HVAC, high- and low-voltage systems, utilities, electrical services, and mechanical equipment. Support company projects during construction, installation, electrical wiring, and commissioning of new facilities and equipment. Control and maintain the Building Management System (BMS). Organize and maintain the facility shop. Education, Skills, and Competencies High school diploma or technical diploma in plumbing, mechanics, HVAC, electricity or other related or equivalenting experience. Minimum of 3 years of related experience Knowledge of safety regulation. Knowledge in construction and buildings, facilities maintenance. Good interpersonal skills. Job Description Primary job functions include working under a Field Service Superintendent on projects sites and leading a crew onsite with executing tasks assigned by site superintendent. This includes demolition, installation, operating machinery, such as telehandlers and skid steers, and receiving material at job sites. Lead a crew on a project site without the full-time presence of the site superintendent. Prepare and maintain preventive maintenance documentation. 3. Responsible for maintaining spare parts for its assigned equipment; all additional machine components as necessary. 4. Makes recommendations for equipment improvement and work with engineer and production supervisors to attain cost saving and machine efficiency goals. 5. Must be able to fabricate machine parts in the maintenance shop. 6. Support process improvement projects and qualification effort. 7. Complete and detail preventive maintenance work orders. 8. Complete and detail corrective maintenance on equipment. 9. Complete and document validations. 10. Incumbent is expected to be able to provide technical guidance to machine set ups and operators. 11.
