Job Duties
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
Maintain a service van and its inventory.
Process paperwork after completion of each job.
Minimum Qualifications
Less than 2 years related experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
Preferred Qualifications
Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.

Job Summary:
The Critical Power Level 4 Technician is an expert in the critical power industry and has extensive experience with telecommunications, utility and/or UPS power systems. This is a leadership position that will supervise and train less experienced technicians. A level 4 technician should be able to design custom power solutions and provide turnkey installations. Due to the energized electrical equipment (hot) work requirement of this position, safety must be of the highest importance. A major aspect of this position is to ensure the highest standards of quality and service. This position reports to the Regional Service Manager and does not have any direct reports.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Interact with people from all organizational levels, both inside and outside the company.
Provide the highest quality of service possible to assure customer satisfaction.
Timely reporting of all activities including service reports, expense reports, and maintenance reports to the customer.
Being directly responsible for company assets, including a service vehicle, parts inventory, tools and test equipment.
Functions with little direct supervision.

Qualifications:

Perform the following work operations or job activities without supervision or direction:
Addition or removal of common systems equipment hardware, including batteries.
Addition or removal of wiring and connections.
Lead verification/continuity testing.
Analysis of job specifications and drawings.
Provide work assignments to Skill Level 1, 2 and 3 Installers.
Prepare a Method of Procedure (MOP).
Resolve job specification and/or drawing problems.
Mark/correct office record drawings.
In-process and final quality inspections.

Supervise and complete Telecom Central Office, Headend, MTSO and/or Regen, Switchgear and/or UPS equipment / battery Installations.
Perform Site Assessments for new and existing DC Power Systems. Assessments define the necessary equipment, materials, and labor to fulfill the customer's requests. The Assessments are provided to Account Managers and/or Sales Team in support of their project quotations.
Troubleshoot and repair power system components by gaining a complete understanding of the electrical operation of the latest module technologies. Install DC Power System in customer locations.
Perform preventive maintenance activities on critical power systems and equipment.
Supervise site Installation teams and/or Subcontractors.
Provide daily status updates to the Service Manager for all projects that they are leading.
Responsible for reviewing customer inquiries, specifications, and engineering data and recommending products and services to suit their requirements.
Responsible to maintain all company vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment
Responsible for approving and completion of all work orders, expense reports, PM worksheets and any documentation as requested.
Building strong relationships with customers by presenting a professional appearance, speaking positively about our company, our suppliers, and our fellow employees. Being sure to promote company products, suggestive selling and solving customer complaints and problems.

Requirements:
Education: AAS Degree / Tech School or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of technician experience with DC Power and/or UPS equipment is required.
5 years' experience in lead technician role.

The Field Service Representative will interface with Solventum customers daily and is responsible for building, cultivating, and maintaining superior customer relationships. Supports customers to include patients and hospital staff on a regular basis providing superior customer service with customer centric solutions
Executes timely and accurate order management using company issued computers and electronic equipment for accurate documentation and record keeping.

About the Role
The Eames Institute is in search of a Facilities Technician to oversee the maintenance of our 15,000-square-foot (and growing) campus in Richmond, CA. Reporting to the Senior Director of Properties, this role is responsible for ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our staff, guests, and collections. The Facilities Technician will play a key role in maintaining the overall safety, security, cleanliness, and functionality of our campus, which currently operates out of two buildings and will soon expand into a third. The site includes workspaces for Eames Institute staff as well as warehouse spaces for the Eames Archives. The ideal candidate is self-driven and energized by the opportunity to maintain and support one of the world's most significant Eames collections.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain Facilities, Grounds & Equipment
Unlock and open the main building at the beginning of the daily shift.
Serve as point person for all Richmond facilities-related contractors and vendors, coordinating with the Senior Director of Properties on scheduling and overseeing services provided.
Tend to overall maintenance of the property, which includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC-R), electrical, plumbing, carpentry, custodial, and grounds activities, adhering to maintenance schedules for equipment.
Ensure excellent standard of cleanliness throughout the buildings, executing on routine janitorial cleaning duties and other cleaning tasks as they arise.
Complete inventory and supply orders in accordance with the Senior Director of Properties and Senior Director of Operations.
Provide trash management, including staging trash containers for pick-up.
Secure and lock the buildings at the end of the daily shift.
Maintain updated SDS sheets for the facility.
Provide Facilities Support to Onsite Staff
Ensure smooth daily operation of property and respond to staff needs and requests with thorough execution.
Assist the Collections team with the moving and arranging of Collections pallets and items.
Serve as point person for shipping and receiving, including communication and proper storage for incoming objects.
Be available for infrequent after-hours emergencies.
Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and pallet jacks. (Currently hold a forklift certification or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.)
Occasionally respond to requests of two low-maintenance tenants, escalating to the Senior Director of Properties as needed.
Support staff at other locations, such as Eames Ranch and Stout bookstore, as needed and agreed to with Senior Director of Properties.

Required skills, abilities, competencies:
2-5 years of experience in building maintenance
Ability to closely follow safety regulations and meet company policies

Basic understanding of access control for alarm and camera systems
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a diverse group of people, able to use tech-based platform for facilities requests (Slack)

Job Summary:
The Critical Power Level 4 Technician is an expert in the critical power industry and has extensive experience with telecommunications, utility and/or UPS power systems. This is a leadership position that will supervise and train less experienced technicians. A level 4 technician should be able to design custom power solutions and provide turnkey installations.
