Similarly, support and recommend initiatives for increased recycling of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Promptly address assigned environmental and emergency response corrective actions. Assist with environmental training for key personnel as determined by regulatory or environmental management system requirements. Maintains working knowledge of federal, state and local Facilities and EHS regulations/trends. Education / Training / Skills / Experience: Five (5) years minimum experience in a facilities, engineering and/or environmental role. Experience with construction, engineering, project design, contracts, specification and project management preferred. Hazardous Waste Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training preferred. Must currently possess or acquire within 30 days of employment RCRA training. HVAC maintenance experience preferred. Working knowledge of building automation systems.
