Experience and Education: 5+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry with related experience in construction and tower work. 2-3 years of verifiable experience splicing and testing fiber optic cables for dark fiber providers (e.g., Zayo), meeting stringent quality and performance standards. 3+ years of hands-on experience using Fujikura fusion splicing machines for high-count fiber splicing (864ct, 1728ct, 3456ct). 3+ years of experience performing OTDR and OLTS testing with EXFO testing equipment. 2+ years of experience producing Fast Reporter reports for network documentation. Qualifications & Skills: Proven ability to perform mid-sheath (ring-cut) splicing and live fiber network splicing with minimal service disruption.
