The Low Voltage Cabling Technician for Megawatt Construction is responsible for installing, staging, testing, and maintaining structured cabling systems and related hardware within data center fit-out projects. This role includes copper and fiber cabling installation, equipment staging and inventory control, quality assurance, and support of overall data center infrastructure deployment. Key Responsibilities Installation & Deployment Install, route, and secure structured cabling including Cat5e/6/6A, coax, and fiber-optic (single-mode and multi-mode) cables. Build and install racks, cabinets, ladder racks, cable trays, cable baskets, and fiber raceways. Terminate copper and fiber cables to industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, manufacturer specifications). Install patch panels, cable managers, equipment shelves, and associated hardware. Label all cables and infrastructure according to project documentation and QC requirements. Equipment Staging & Inventory Management Assist in receiving, unpacking, and verifying incoming materials, hardware, and equipment.
