The technician is trained and knowledgeable to install, inspect, troubleshoot and service this equipment. Job Description About the Role: The SCADA Technician will be responsible for supporting the configuration, troubleshooting and commissioning of instrumentation, communications and SCADA devices during equipment production and on-site after equipment delivery, as required. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain facility systems, addressing abnormalities in electrical, mechanical, and control systems. Collaborate with the Critical Operations Manager on maintenance schedules and manage discrepancies. Prevent unplanned outages, optimize cooling efficiency, and oversee power installations. Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for troubleshooting and assist in asset management. Conduct facility and security inspections and provide mechanical and control expertise for the data center. Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience in data center or other mission-critical operations. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (UPS, transformers, chillers, PDUs, etc.). Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and compliance issues and building codes in regards to fire life safety. Experience with Microsoft Office and site monitoring systems.
