Our Client is looking for a Cost Engineer to join their Project Controls Team, supporting major Capital Projects at our Defiance, OH site. This contract position and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to one of the region's largest industrial development projects. The Cost Engineer will be responsible for cost tracking, forecasting, change management, and supporting overall project financial performance. This position will be 40 hour work week with approved overtime.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, track, and forecast Field Change Requests (FCRs)
Validate contractor invoices and reconcile with approved contracts
Support cost reporting, earned value analysis, and cash flow management
Review contractor schedules and assist with contract closeout activities

What you will do:
Support development of RF hardware systems through the development lifecycle, from system requirements definition through to delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and specifications as they relate to assigned tasking
Under guidance from senior staff, design and implement hardware designs and support assembly, integration, and testing. Activities may include:

Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Voice and Unified Communications Engineer is responsible for maintaining, administering and troubleshooting the Firm's existing Voice platforms, including voicemail, devices and associated lines, electronic fax solutions and call reporting solutions. JOB SUMMARY

The successful candidate will work with production managers and support staff to produce in a safe, compliant, high quality, and cost-efficient operation. DAY TO DAY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the electrical aspects of new capital and improvement projects including hardware design, programming, design documentation, networking, data acquisition, equipment installation, equipment debug, and support.
Hands-on approach to projects - design, build and install new control systems.
Work on engineering solutions to improve equipment reliability and safety, lower operation and maintenance costs, and improve ergonomics.
Supply project leaders with capital cost estimates and project timelines for completion of electrical work
