In addition, it engages in the design, development, testing, and operation of facilities and systems for nuclear power generation, chemical processing, environmental remediation, radiological analysis, demilitarization, and nuclear waste processing and storage and clean room operations for contamination control in energy and environment industries. Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. was formerly known as Brown Engineering Company. As a result of the acquisition of Brown Engineering Company by Teledyne Technologies Inc., its name was changed to Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. in 1967.
