What We Are Looking For
As the Demand Planning Manager for Teledyne Energetics UK, you will be responsible for forecasting product demand to optimize inventory, production, and supply chain efficiency. You will oversee a newly developing team with an aim of managing MRP purchasing, production orders, logistics, material kitting, and help to provide accurate revenue forecasting for the business. You will collaborate with other teams to ensure product availability to meet customer commitments and improve factory on time delivery.
Role & Responsibilities
* Lead Sales, Inventory and Operations planning (SIOP) to drive alignment across all functions and deliver to customer first promise dates.
* Work with sales to provide forecasts to address factory capacity planning, production efficiencies, and highlight bottlenecks
* Analyse forecast trends, customer behaviours, and supplier performance to refine planning strategies.
* Monitor forecast accuracy and identify root causes for deviations, driving corrective actions to improve future delivery performance.
* Develop an effective Supply Chain function to address MRP buying, receipt and control of stock, planning of sub-assemblies, kitting, production order management, and allocation and backflushing of finished product.
* Work closely with document control and quality assurance to align Supply Chain systems and processes.
* Help to manage cashflow in the business through optimising logistics and ensuring triggers for invoicing.
* Develop and manage the overall demand plan for the on-time delivery of multiple product lines or a major business segment.
* Help to develop a strong supply chain team, overseeing day-to-day activities and professional development.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, procurement, manufacturing and engineering, to gather input and validate demand forecasts.
* Act as a key liaison between customer-facing functions (sales) and the site delivery team.
* Optimize management of customer owned stock and help manage any demand risks.
* Improve factory profitability by helping to align operations with future demand.
* Provide reports on demand performance and supply chain metrics.
* Best utilize SAP ERP and other planning systems and analytical tools, while also identifying process improvements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Experience of demand planning in a niche electronic manufacturing environment would be helpful, along with familiarity of the challenges of establishing a new planning function in an SME.
* Proficiency in forecasting, SAP ERP, data analysis, and used of Microsoft Excel and Teams.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving, decision-making, leadership, and strategic thinking abilities.

The role:
The strategic development of an effective personnel security culture across the TADE UK sites and the day to day management and delivery of personnel security policy, procedures, risk assessment, management and general security processes. Ultimately responsible for implementation of National Security Vetting aftercare across the TADE UK sites that the company provides sponsorship for. The Security Controller Lead will ensure that all aftercare activities are managed and undertaken promptly and effectively, liaising with HR and Welfare organisations within the company as necessary. Security Controller Lead will be reporting into the UK Head of Security.
This role can be based out of our sites in Lincoln, West Yorkshire, Wirral, Powys, Berkshire. But will require travel across these locations.
What you'll be involved in:
The establishment and oversight of the TADE UK sites approach to Personnel Security including:
* Assures that the Company's Personnel Security business processes are compliant with relevant legislation, and that the sites operate according to the principles embedded in relevant Government standards (IPSA)
* Facilitate where necessary visits and inspections by individuals representing either the Government or Contracting Authority and to ensure any relevant documentation, process or records are available for inspection.
* Interpreting, implementing and monitoring security controls for the appropriate maintenance of personnel security for National Security Vetted (NSV) staff either in the employ of the Company, or sub-contracted to that Company.
* Assessment and agreement with companies within the Network to ensure that appropriate controls are present for Vetting Sponsor responsibilities
* Owning and maintaining a personnel security Risk Register where risks are identified, documented, tracked, mitigated and monitored.
* Promotes policies, practices and decisions which recognise the current and evolving needs of all the stakeholders.
* Ensuring that any personnel security policies are coherent with, and complement any HR or Welfare policies, either planned or in existence.
* Ensure that ongoing personnel security is embedded within the Company's ways of working in line with the UK Head of Security
* Overall responsibility for pre-vetting checks (BPSS) and the subsequent National Security Vetting process (SC & DV)
* Ensure that they have the necessary UKSV access to have effective oversight of both the vetting process and the vetting sponsor activities of any sub-ordinate vetting sponsor accounts.
* Ensuring any changes in circumstances in individuals effecting security clearances, are reported and logged through the appropriate channels
* Liaising within the Company and with UK Head of Security on personnel security related issues as appropriate
* Advise on the appropriate personnel security controls for a new bids and contracts.
* Preparing and implementing the Company Personnel Security Instructions, ensuring that any new or revised policy is appropriately 'staffed' and considered throughout the organisation, liaising with other disciplines such as HR to ensure personnel security is considered and embedded within all appropriate policies in line with IPSA
* Ensuring that all policies are made available to, and understood by all employees, updating them as necessary.
* Ensuring that processes are in place to brief/de-brief Security Check (SC) and Developed Vetting (DV) cleared staff who may travel to certain foreign countries, either on business or in their private life.
* Being readily available for consultation and giving personnel security advice to the Company's management and employees.
* Arranging for appropriate personnel security education and awareness training, ensuring that staff understand the scale, nature of the threats and security actions required.
* Ensuring that any breach of personnel security is immediately reported in accordance with Government requirements and contractual responsibilities.
* Ensure that outcome of any security incident is recorded in a Company breaches register, and a full report and impact analysis is passed to the UK Head of Security

Working within a team of highly skilled and experienced Technicians and Engineers, the Assembly & Test Operator will spend their time carrying out a range of electronic and mechanical assembly tasks in addition to production related automated testing. The ability to closely follow written assembly instructions, possess manual dexterity and have good attention to detail are of the upmost importance in this role to ensure the high quality of our safety critical products.
Other duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
* Electro-mechanical assembly (PCBs and cables into mechanical housings using various fixings, coatings and encapsulation equipment).
* Automated testing (using computer assisted test equipment).
* Operation of various processing equipment.
* Recording the completion of operations using computer software.
* Reporting of deviations and non-conformances relating to the assembly and test of product.
We would really like to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following skills and experience:
* Experience of carrying out close tolerance work.

This key individual will join their Engineering Team to design RF Circuits and Systems. Teledyne design and build leading edge RF technology from simple amplitude measurement and LNAs through to complete systems ranging from 500MHz to 40GHz. You will be responsible for the design of custom RF components and systems as part of a multi-disciplinary team from concept through to production transfer. * Technical input to other disciplines to enable the complete project.

* Undertake technical definition & detailed planning of specific product development projects in conjunction with the Project team throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure that the product requirement is completely captured and planned as a series of engineering tasks.
* Be responsible for the achievement of the requirements, including cost objectives, of each product development project as detailed within the Customer order documents.
* Maintain visibility of the design approach and ensure, through review, that the implemented design will meet the product requirement.
* To facilitate and encourage appropriate technical discussion and broad communication of new ideas.

* An accomplished Electronics Design Engineer with a strong background in physics, mathematics or similar, ideally with a solid understanding of RF circuit design.
* Understanding of mechanical design achieved through development work and transferring products to production stage.

* Bid proposal support for onboarding new programmes / projects.
* Support accurate reporting and budget forecasting for project delivery, along with detailed revenue projections.
* Resolve project uncertainty through risk planning, by managing risk mitigation plans and effective escalations within the business.
* Champion sitewide improvements for project management and help mentor junior members within the team.
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Demonstrated project management experience of highly technical critically dependent projects, sometimes needing to resolve ambiguous situations.
* Experienced with high profile and demanding customers (OEMs).
* Experienced with Technical proposal delivery.
* A relevant professional project management qualification with at least 5 years professional experience.
* Knowledge of EPM tools and ASC606 accounting methodology, preferably with SAP S4.

Primary Level Salary Range: $77,200.00 - $115,800.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00
