The class works within a general outline of work to be performed, and develops work methods and sequences under general supervision.
ESSENTIAL TASKS
The tasks listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional tasks related to the type of work of the class as necessary.
Obtains rights-of-way in preparation of the construction of public projects for the Transportation Penny Department.
Researches property ownership of parcels of land associated with road and bridge projects.
Researches legal records to establish boundaries of properties.
Prepares temporary and permanent easement documents for signatures and recording.
Coordinates with the outside consultant contracts who locates and contacts property owners for execution of documents; negotiates terms for signatures.
Maintains and manages right-of-way records and database along with payment records for all property acquisitions including permissions, temporary and permanent easements, in fee acquisitions, condemnations and relocations.
