The Critical Care RegisteredNurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in a variety of critical care settings. Documents the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions
Provides a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment
Initiates and evaluates patient and/or family education
Compares expected and actual outcomes of care and identifies deviation from the plan of care
Adheres to facility/client policies, procedures and protocols at all times
Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
Minimum Requirements:
Current RegisteredNurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
One year of critical care experience is preferred
Minimum of one year acute or critical care experience preferred
Current BLS card; current ACLS/PALS card (per facility requirement)
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
