Teleperformance USA company history timeline

1978

Following a merger with Duprat et Durant in 1978, SRC’s major focus shifted to marketing and media services.

1985

By 1985, Teleperformance had captured the lead of the French call center market.

1988

By 1988, Teleperformance had added subsidiaries in Austria, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Sweden.

1993

In 1993, the company set up a subsidiary in the United States, which was already the world’s largest call center market.

1995

With its European expansion largely in place, the company was able to claim leadership of that market by 1995.

1998

Teleperformance then added South Korea to its list, through the creation of a joint venture with IMC Marketing in 1998.

Brazil also became an important market for the company in the region following the creation of a subsidiary there in 1998.

2000

In keeping with the new strategy, the company changed its name to SR Teleperformance in 2000.

2005

These purchases allowed SR Teleperformance to claim the number two position in the global CRM market by 2005.

2006

Since 2006, our Citizen of the World (COTW) programs have helped shape the future of the less fortunate, donated to families in impoverished cities, and funded countless of medical organizations in order to boost their research and development.

In 2006, the company moved into Hungary, buying 70 percent of call center group Photel.
