The most common degree for telephone operators is high school diploma with 34% graduates, with only 26% telephone operator graduates earning bachelor's degree. Telephone operators who decided to graduate from college often finish University of Phoenix or Monroe College. Some good skills to have in this position include patients, emergency calls and customer service.
