A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A UNIVERSAL TELLER As our Universal Teller, you play a vital role in growing relationships and sharing about the great products and services that we offer. You are friendly and confident as you enthusiastically greet customers and provide valuable assistance. With excellent attention to detail, you accept and process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, night drop and mail deposits, cash checks, process loan and credit card payments and sell cashier's checks. You accurately balance a teller cash drawer, balance and maintain the vault, ATM/ITM and coin machines according to established bank procedures while maintaining all audit requirements. Your effective collaboration may assist our team with ordering bank cash, check ordering, branch supply ordering, scheduling vendor maintenance, reviewing cameras, monthly and quarterly branch audits, maintenance of debit cards and you may assist other areas of the bank. Process deposits and withdrawals, cash checks, issue Cashier's Checks, accept a variety of payments, process coin orders accurately, perform proof duties, balance cash vaults, scan and file appropriate documents Maintains a high degree of accuracy by balancing cash drawer daily. Keeps cash overages/shortages within the acceptable standards. Properly completes all account paperwork with minimal errors and no delays. Responsible for achieving targeted levels for product sales, service behaviors, and referral goals. Opens new depository accounts for business and personal customers, takes ownership of account maintenance requests. Handles customer account inquiries promptly and professionally. Maintains an active community presence and participates in Bank activities. In addition, the Float Universal Banker will also maintain continuous contact with customers and prospective customers through correspondence, business visits, and social events in conjunction with the offering of bank services.
