10+ years of well-rounded Medical Affairs & hands-on leadership experience, including leading field-based medical teams and medical directors.
Track record of collaboration and teamwork, demonstrated by successful internal and external stakeholder partnerships, including but not limited to medical directors, large group practices, and KOLs.
Therapeutic area experience in Inflammation/Immunology, Rheumatology, Eye Care/Ophthalmology, or Neurology is preferred.
Previous success in the ability to identify creative strategies to deliver optimal value to BIIB, HCPs, and patients.
Substantial knowledge and history of compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements for field-based scientific personnel.
Demonstrated expertise in the interpretation of scientific data, market research, competitive intelligence tools, drug information systems, and developing medical educational strategies.
Strong understanding of Clinical Development and Commercial functional areas.
