DIVISION /DEPARTMENT JOC REPORTS TO VP of Operations DUTIES, ROLES, & RESPONSIBILITIES JOB PURPOSE Our project managers oversee projects from the initial proposal to the final stage, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. They also handle any required follow-up tasks, dividing their time between the office and job sites. The ideal candidate should possess 7+ years of experience in the HVAC industry, possibly starting their career in installation. They should prioritize customer service, teamwork, and delivering high-quality work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
* Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to develop comprehensive estimates.
* Proficiency in negotiation and sales experience.
* Organize and plan tasks for the project team.
* Request Subcontractor estimates and provide support in contract and letter of intent (LOI) preparations.
* Monitor and control the daily progress of construction projects, including regular communication, requests for information (RFIs), and change orders (COs).
* Conduct site visits to oversee project advancement.
* Support drafters in developing construction drawings.
* Coordinate and manage the scheduling and workload of construction projects daily.
WORKING CONDITIONS - The working conditions for this position will consist of roughly 70% office time and 30% job site time.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
* Higher Education or College Degree.
* 7+ Years of experience in HVAC.
* Successful completion of High School Diploma or GED.
* Organized individual able to handle timelines and deadlines.
* Experience in project management.
* Experience in JOC (Job Order Contracting) work is a plus.
* Estimating experience is also a plus and requires additional job duties and responsibilities.
* Experience in working on projects involving schools, and/or hospitals.

Your Duties and Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
Review engineering drawings, submittals, and plumbing schematics to plan project execution.
Create detailed schedules, manpower plans, and material takeoffs.
Coordinate closely with GCs, engineers, inspectors, and site supervisors.
Construction Management
Lead field crews and subcontractors, ensuring work meets code, spec, and quality standards.
Oversee installation of domestic water systems, DWV systems, medical gas (if applicable), hydronic piping, gas piping, storm systems, and specialty systems.
Budget & Cost Control
Track project costs, change orders, and labor hours to maintain budget compliance.
Approve purchasing, manage vendors, and verify material delivery schedules.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or compliance.
Quality Control & Compliance
Conduct inspections and testing (pressure tests, chlorination, camera inspections, etc.).
Ensure compliance with IPC, UPC, local amendments, OSHA, and project-specific QA/QC.
Prepare documentation required for inspections and project closeout.
Risk, Safety & Problem Solving
Enforce safety protocols and support a culture of proactive hazard mitigation.
Resolve design conflicts, field issues, and coordination clashes with other trades.
Anticipate schedule risks and adjust sequencing as necessary.
Communication & Reporting
Maintain daily logs, progress reports, RFI submissions, and meeting documentation.
Run weekly coordination meetings with foremen and site leadership.

Responsibilities
Assists with the interpretation of labor agreements and statutory legislations to ensure compliance regarding pay, deductions, benefits, taxes and documentation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or technical degree in HVAC,
mechanical systems, or related field preferred.
* Minimum 5-7 years of commercial HVAC experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory
or management role.
* Demonstrated success in HVAC service operations and new business development or
sales.
* Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, maintenance agreements, and service
delivery models.
* Proven ability to drive sales growth and maintain strong customer relationships.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong business acumen with the ability to manage budgets, pricing, and profitability.
* Proficiency with service management and CRM software (e.g., Service Titan, or similar).

The Driver / Tool Distributor plays a critical role in supporting field operations by ensuring timely, accurate, and safe delivery of tools, equipment, and materials to job sites throughout the Arizona area. This position maintains the flow of resources between the warehouse and field teams, assists with inventory and equipment upkeep, and promotes efficient, reliable, and responsive service to internal customers. The Driver / Tool Distributor represents the company on the road and on job sites and is expected to uphold strong customer service, communication, and safety standards.

Your Duties and Responsibilities
Tool, Material, & Equipment Delivery
Safely operate company vehicles to transport tools, materials, small equipment, and job-site essentials to and from local project locations.
Follow optimized delivery routes to meet project deadlines and minimize downtime for field staff.
Ensure all transported items are delivered accurately, in good condition, and with proper documentation.
Inventory & Documentation
Maintain accurate logs of all pickups, deliveries, and returns, including receipts and inventory records.
Assist with tracking tool and equipment usage, repairs, and replacements.
Support the warehouse team in organizing stock, staging orders, and preparing outgoing materials for daily dispatch.
Vehicle Care & Compliance
Perform basic vehicle inspections, fueling, and cleanliness before and after use.
Report any maintenance needs, mechanical issues, or safety concerns immediately.
Follow all local traffic laws and company safety procedures at all times.
Field & Warehouse Support
Assist field teams by retrieving missing or urgent tools and materials as requested.
Help with loading, unloading, stocking, and general warehouse organization.
Communicate effectively with office personnel, field supervisors, and warehouse staff to coordinate delivery schedules and priorities.
Customer & Team Interaction
Communicate effectively with supervisors, technicians, and project managers regarding delivery status, inventory needs, and tool availability.
Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with internal and external customers.
Qualifications
Valid Arizona State Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Minimum age of 25 due to company vehicle insurance requirements.
2-3 years of experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or tool/equipment handling preferred.
Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in fast-paced, demanding environments.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work cooperatively with multiple departments.

Your Duties and Responsibilities
Provide hand and power tools as listed for Service Technician 4.
Layout, design and install low voltage/ high voltage wiring.
Compile a complete materials list from blueprints.
Verify and coordinate HVAC building code compliance.
Communicate clearly, the ideas and explanations of problems to customers and coworkers.
Train, instruct and oversee other team members.
Present training seminars and classes for in-house meetings.
Troubleshooting equipment; make repair and replace decisions.
Acquire commercial and residential planned maintenance agreements.
Calculate equipment efficiency and operating costs.
Writing work order for projects sold.
Responsible for follow-up process on each work order.
Coordinate and remain current on all local utility programs.
Converse with facilities engineers, building and homeowners, and general contractors
Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times.
Run after hours calls as required.

Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.

Acquire VRF installation & troubleshooting certification within 1 year of employment as Service Technician 5
Must be able to teach Service Tech 3 & 4 on VRF installation & troubleshooting within 2 years of employment as Service Tech 5.
Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices.
Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques.
Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles.
