Rick Olson was elected president and chief operating officer in September 2015 and to the board of directors of The Toro Company in January 2016. Previously he was elected group vice president, international business, micro irrigation business and distributor development in June 2014, and was named vice president, international business in March 2013. Olson joined Toro in 1986 as a manufacturing process engineer. Andy Mooney was named chairman of Disney Consumer Products in May, 2003, after having served as its president since joining The Walt Disney Company in January, 2000. Mooney oversees the worldwide day-to-day operations of Disney Consumer Products, which extends the rich Disney entertainment experience to a broad selection of merchandise ranging from toys, apparel, home décor and books to interactive games, food and beverages, electronics and fine art. Under Mooney's management, Disney Consumer Products' business has turned around through a variety of initiatives. Mooney spent 20-years with Nike, Inc., originally joining the company's United Kingdom division as chief financial officer. He transitioned to marketing in 1982, holding several senior positions before becoming chief marketing officer for Nike in the United States in 1994. Immediately prior to joining Disney, Mooney was chief marketing officer and head of Nike's $3 billion Global Apparel organization with additional responsibilities for worldwide marketing strategies for the Nike and Jordan brands. He led the reorganization of Nike's brand marketing activities and introduced new advertising strategies. A native of Whitburn, Scotland, Mooney holds an Accounting Certificate in the United Kingdom.
