Qualifications
Education/Experience: MSW or Master's degree in Counseling from an accredited college or university. Candidate must possess a LSW, LISW, LPC or LPCC issued by the State of Ohio. to qualify for the position. Two years previous experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment facility with direct experience with group therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning required.

Rehab Department Hours: Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-6:30pm, and Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm. Saturday and Sunday are on an on-call, as needed basis. The Rehab Department utilizes Epic.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Patient evaluations - Perform comprehensive assessments and review medical histories and physician referrals to determine therapy needs
* Establish goals to enhance independence with daily living - Develop personalized care plans based on patient goals, diagnosis, and progress and adjust as needed
* Therapeutic Interventions - Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation, gait training, posture correction, and pain management strategies
* Communicate and counsel patients and families on lifestyle modifications and injury prevention while coordinating care with physicians, occupationaltherapists, and other healthcare professionals
