Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, initiation, and administration of a categorical ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residency training program.

POSITION SUMMARY

5. Participates in Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) by attending to individual patient's concerns within scope oral surgical assistant role.
6. Provides patient care and maintains records in accordance with federal, state, and organization requirements.
7. Coordinates with the rest of the office team and participate in department team huddles.
8. Position has regular contact with patient with patients suffering from facial and head trauma. Performs a wide variety of skills and procedures. Has freedom to determine how to best to accomplish functions within established procedures, confers with physicians, clinic manager and/or senior practice manager. POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides physics services by following department/facility policies, procedures and protocols. This position ensures optimal care/treatment to patient population.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position promotes high reliability in clinical performance and patient safety through assessment, facilitation and prioritization of improvement activities, overseeing performance improvement projects and ensuring successful clinical project implementation at operating entities. This position additionally has oversight and direction of the infection prevention program for all departments throughout a facility or ambulatory setting, including surveillance, infection prevention and control measures, and education for employees. The position works closely with both system and operating entities to improve quality, infection prevention, patient safety and outcomes of clinical care. All work processed by the team member is considered confidential and protected from discovery, pursuant to state statutes.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Responsible for oversight and assessment of clinical performance data, infection prevention data, and care delivery practices. Collaborates with administrators, physicians, clinical leaders and staff to identify improvement opportunities utilizing quantitative techniques, knowledge of health care operations and systems thinking. Obtains and uses literature, evidence-based practice and benchmark data whenever possible.
2. Conducts focused surveillance for healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), detects and records HAIs on a systematic and current basis, analyzes HAIs and prepares reports for the Infection Control Committee of the facility or ambulatory setting. Reports communicable diseases as required by regulation.
3. Improves clinical performance identifies causes of variation, serves as a subject matter expert and supports implementation of systems and processes to facilitate effective clinical practice. Leverages results from clinical performance, infection prevention, peer review, regulatory, patient safety and others to align performance improvement opportunities with system and local teams.
4. Facilitates prioritization of improvement activities with system and entity leadership, based on current risk assessment and performance. Conducts collection, aggregation and analysis of data, i.e. clinical performance, surveillance, etc. Initiates epidemiological investigations of significant clusters of infections and single cases of unusual infection. Coordination and dissemination of information to support administrative and clinical decision making. Collaborates with the appropriate process owner(s) to identify opportunities for improvement.
5. Establishes and oversees the development and implementation of annual quality plans with administrative, service line and process owners. Strategizes with entity leadership to plan and coordinate local Quality Councils.
6. Manages and coaches performance improvement activities and oversees projects in collaboration with project leaders and administrators. Serves as a subject matter expert and/or facilitates improvement teams to plan, implement, and coordinate entity activities to maximize clinical and operational outcomes. Participates on improvement teams, guiding teams on system defined improvement methodologies and processes.
7. Reviews and assists with implementation of policies, procedures and guidelines as they relate to infection prevention. Conducts infection prevention education and in-service programs to departments, including orientation for new employees. Conducts construction, renovation, environmental, and infection prevention rounds, ensuring compliance with system policy and national and/or professional standards for a safe environment.
8. Achieves and maintains professional competencies in assessment, performance improvement, surveillance, infection prevention, change/project management, and patient safety. Competency and expertise are obtained through independent study, internal development courses, attending education workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, board certification, and participating in professional organizations. Serves as a consultant and subject matter expert for physicians, nurses, department managers, supervisors, and other professional and non- professional staff members.
9. Responsibility for Quality Improvement (QI), Infection Prevention (IP) and Patient Safety at a single entity and additionally is involved in system-level IP, QI and patient safety activities. Internal customers include all assigned entity administrators, physicians, staff, volunteers and corporate administrators, leadership team and staff. External customers include public health agencies, general public, accreditation and regulatory organizations, payers, patients and physicians.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent in nursing or other healthcare related field. Or a Bachelor's degree with five years of healthcare related experience.
RN license in state worked OR a clinical background with current license/certification or equivalent experience.
Senior Quality Safety & Infection Program Manager will be expected to achieve Certification of Infection Control (CIC) after completing 4 years in the position and attaining Infection Prevention work experience.
Infection Prevention Team members working primarily in an acute or ambulatory job location will be expected to maintain an active Basic Life Skills certification.
Must have a proficiency level typically attained with five years experience in Quality Management/Performance Improvement. POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides assessment, treatment, and education to cardiac patients and their families during their inpatient stay post cardiac event and in outpatient cardiac and/or pulmonary rehabilitation. Works in phase 1 rehabilitation; performs various exercise tolerance tests and cardiopulmonary exercise testing. May perform pharmacological stress testing.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Evaluates patient's functional abilities and limitations to determine appropriate intervention. Develops a plan of care and exercise goals, as ordered by physician or other referral source. Serves as a resource to new Clinical Exercise Physiologists and reinforces high quality patient care, appropriate exercise prescription and in-depth patient education. May independently run phase I, II, III, cardiac rehabilitation and pulmonary rehabilitation classes. May delegate duties to team members under the direction of Exercise Physiologist Lead or leadership.
2. Implements individualized exercise plans that consider patients' physical and age-specific needs and abilities. Ensures that treatment plans are supported by standard practices and/or current literature. Re-evaluates treatment plans, as needed, to ensure safety and maximum patient benefit. Follows protocol with little deviation for patient assessments and exercise prescription. Promotes and may be a resource to team for standardization of exercise testing, department protocols and best practices. Maintains strong working relationships with physicians; provides recommendations and guidance specific to knowledge base **_._** Assists with training of staff so that quality of care is standardized across all phases of cardiac and pulmonary rehab and/or exercise testing. 3. Educates patients and family during phase 1 cardiac rehab to promote patient participation and attainment of exercise program goals. May ambulate post open-heart patients to improve outcomes and safe/prompt discharge home. Ambulation done both in the telemetry and intensive care unit. Provides individualized home programs with clear instructions. Instructs patients and families in pathology, discharge guidelines, risk factor modification, and exercise individually and through classes for both cardiac and pulmonary patients. Provides highest acuity patient care while meeting all quality standards.
4. Presents educational material to team to aid in maintaining clinical relevance and application of best practices. May be involved in Quality Control (QC) and Process Improvement (PI) projects.
5. Independently documents patient treatment according to professional and regulatory standards. Maintains strong competency in policies and procedures and all required documentation. May serve as a resource to other team members. Supports compliance to policies, procedures and regulatory standards. Assists with coordination of care from beginning to end to follow best practices.
6. Follows plan of care to accomplish functions within established procedures and scope of practice. Makes independent judgments based on specialized knowledge. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a level of clinical knowledge as normally obtained through Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field.
Minimum experience of a 300 + hour internship in cardiac rehabilitation or equivalent clinical/patient hours.
Requires knowledge in cardiac/pulmonary physiology, management and treatment of chronic disease, health promotion, ECG interpretation.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Banner Alzheimer's Institute (BAI) and the All of Us Research Program is proud to offer research studies to patients and people in the community. Everyone should be represented in research, and we are now enrolling pediatric participants.
As a Clinical Research Assistant, you will spend most of the day talking to patients about the research study and enrolling those that are interested into the research study (focused on Pediatric enrollments). Each morning, the Clinical Research Assistant (CRA) will review a Cerner list of patients in the hospital to identify those that are appropriate (not too sick) to approach. The CRA will talk to the patient's nurse to confirm that the patient is stable to talk with. The CRA then enters each patient's room to talk to the parents/guardians about All of Us (they give an elevator pitch). If they say yes, then the CRA completes the enrollment process. Enrollment is helping a patient create an account and consent on an iPad, complete physical measurements, draw blood, and process the specimen. Usually, an CRA has to approach about 10 patients to get one person to say yes. Other responsibilities include data quality control, outreach events, and retention of enrolled participants.
Work will be onsite/in-person. The main enrollment location is at NCMC plus community outreach at events, libraries, etc. The ability to travel locally is required. Mileage will be reimbursed for travel outside of the "home" location.
This position is based out of North Colorado Medical Center. Typical schedule is M-F; 8:30am to 4:30pm. There is some flexibility if needed; an 8-hour shift between 7:30am to 5:30pm can be accommodated; some events may take place in the evening or on weekends. Training will need to occur between 8:30am to 4:30pm.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing primary support to both investigator-initiated and pharmaceutical research studies and projects by assisting with data collection, documentation, intake/registration, maintenance of source documents, participant recruitment and retention, data entry into research systems, data audits, maintain research supply inventory, and performs administrative tasks and clinical assessments as assigned.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Assists in establishing the clinical trial record including creation, preparation, and maintenance of study specific source documents. Performs protocol-required study procedures as delegated and ensures that all data is properly recorded in source using ALCOAC principles. Ensures source data is transcribed into electronic data capture (EDC) systems and that all other data points are transmitted into research data systems per site and protocol guidance.
2. Ensures potential research participant is correctly registered into both clinical and research systems, including adding in demographic and applicable insurance information.
3. Assists in creating and preparing source and shadow charts for each research participant and ensures all participant documents are completed in a timely manner and are filed in each binder such as pertinent medical records, participant source documents, pharmacy orders, infusion orders, and imaging documents.
4. Understands the basic requirements of the informed consent process and required documentation. Knowledgeable on the information contained within the consent document in order to answer participant questions, provide high level overview of study procedures and associated time. Performs consent audit to ensure related documentation is properly completed and uploads final signed version to clinical and research systems.
5. Helps to recruit potential participants by answering recruitment phone line, completing telephone or in-person pre-screening, requesting and reviewing medical records, and maintaining recruitment database. Attends and participates in community outreach events and appreciation events as needed.
6. Collect, process, package, and ship all laboratory specimens, including blood, urine, and CSF samples, in accordance with the study protocol, laboratory manual, and IATA guidelines. Maintains updated laboratory binder and ensures proper completion of laboratory requisition form. Schedules courier pick up of samples for both central and local laboratories and maintains tracking and dry ice log for all samples.
7. Will have frequent interaction with research participants, families, visitors, clinicians, and other related clinical departments across the Banner institute and Banner campus. May also accompany participants across both approved and affiliated Banner Health off site campuses for visits and procedures including, but not limited to, infusions, imaging, registration, ophthalmology, and dermatology.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
Experience typically gained through one to two years clinical research experience. Must have knowledge and understanding of medical terminology in order to read, identify, and extract pertinent data from medical records and information. Must be able to multi-task and re-prioritize duties as needed. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Excellent human relations, organizational and communication skills are required.
Must be knowledgeable of data entry and computer programs associated with maintaining databases, spreadsheets, etc.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's Degree or Certified Research Assistant Certification preferred. Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures as normally obtained through the completion of two years experience in a health care setting, preferably in a research environment.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
