POSITION SUMMARY

POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides routine patient care to promote patient comfort and contribute to the overall patient plan of care. This position is responsible for on-going patient data collection and documentation in the medical records and provides a variety of unit support functions which contribute to the overall efficient operation of the nursing unit/department.

6. Maintains a complete patient record with admission, transfer, and discharge information, progress notes, and consent forms. Ensures that all reports and chart forms are scanned or filed into the patient's record. Ensures that charting forms are labeled and accessible if they are needed. Maintains adequate supplies of frequently used, patient education materials. Assists in the ordering of patient specimens. May transcribe and process physician orders effectively using the electronic medical record.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for daily plant operations, development and construction support, maintenance and trade operations, and regulatory and compliance, which includes workflow and operational integrity of the facility and it's equipment. CORE FUNCTIONS

4. Evaluates and resolves complex utility infrastructure, personnel, facilities maintenance/repair, regulatory, and operational issues. Makes recommendations to department management on facility improvements and solutions.
5. Interacts and collaborates extensively with facility leaders, medical staff, and department management to implement system, regulatory, facility, and departmental initiatives, needs, and goals. Supports and assists project management related to strategic and regulatory initiatives and operational objectives.
6. Assists with facility and regulatory initiatives, application reviews, and beta testing of facility and regulatory management applications and processes. Conducts facility and regulatory vendor reviews and evaluates workflows. Provides recommendations for facility applications, vendor workflows, regulatory processes, and operational processes.
7. Reviews all facility and regulatory documentation for accuracy, correct inspection frequency and completeness. Ensure that all documentation is uploaded into the CMMS and compliance manager software platforms as required for each facility assigned in a timely manner.
8. Works independently and generally reports to an Area Senior Manager or Director. Develops and implements protocols for facility and regulatory compliance of all assigned areas of responsibility including infrastructure, utilities management, fire life safety, maintenance, and code compliance using sound independent decision making. This position ensures the operational integrity of assigned regulatory and facility responsibilities. Must be able to respond to rapidly changing and escalating emergent situations with the ability to lead, give direction quickly, and provide sound decision making in highly stressful situations. This position is accountable for decisions that impact an entire facility. The span of control is dependent on the situation and ranges from a single department to an entire facility. This position has defined control and responsibility of regulatory, operational, and capital budgetary responsibilities. (Individual regulatory budgetary responsibilities range from $1M - $13M/year. Individual capital budgetary responsibilities range from $250K - $10M/year). Customers for this position are any patient, visitor, staff, physician, or any individual that accesses or uses the facility.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
Three to five years of progressive experience maintaining facility services, fire/life safety equipment and programs and at least one year of leadership experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and possess a working knowledge of fire, life safety and building codes, materials and standards, regulatory agencies and requirements. Basic knowledge of computers, including standard office software programs. Effective written and verbal communication skills and basic mathematical skills.
Must be able to read, understand and work from blueprints. Must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy

This position is responsible for the oversight of the integration of new providers / practices, practice acquisitions, practice expansions (including hospitalist programs) and practice closures while focusing on improving efficiency in the integration process in an effort to improve patient, physician and employee satisfaction. This position is responsible for aiding in the establishment of a working relationship between hospital Administrative Teams, Tenet Practice Resources (TPR) and Physicians who are newly hired, in practices recently acquired or in new practice facilities. The primary focus is to provide project management oversight to the transition of a physician/practice into or out of TPR. Responsibilities will include dealing with the physician's/practice's current equipment, computers, software, real estate, etc. and replacing it when necessary to be consistent with TPR's standards and practices. The Physician Onboarding Manager is also responsible for offboarding of physicians/practices, expansions and relocation of practices.
Responsibilities:
* Serves as the initial point of contact for the practice/region for transactions and initiates appropriate notifications and steps as required for successful provider transition by holding weekly meetings with the on-boarding team and all interested parties.
* Brief National Director on all transitions and possible issues regarding the transitions.
* Provides each physician/practice a detailed overview of the steps, timeline and required documents, signatures and tasks involved in a transition.
* This process will ensure the transition is compliant and successful.
* Also makes sure the required licensures is are in place (or if an approved exception) to operate on or around go live date, i.e., Occupational License, X-Ray, Radioactive, Accreditation, AHCA Exemption Certificates, Clinical Laboratory, CLIA and Bio-waste.
* Ensure all credentialing paperwork from provider has been submitted timely.
* Maintains progress report, reviews and monitors the transition timeline while tracking the provider(s) status to ensure transition steps are completed and appropriately communicated to all operational and financial departments within the committed timeframe.
* Take point on marketing a physician and/or practice year one as "the feet on the street." Year-one marketing includes, but may not be limited to, business cards, head-shots, bio cards, outreach cards, ZocDoc, Phytel, profile/website establishment, entity formation and DBAs, notice of "New Provider-Welcome," brochure or brochure update, national marketing campaign inclusion, revise market advertisements, referral list inclusion, Press Ganey inclusion and directory management.
* Works in conjunction with other departments to improve the efficiency of the transition process.
* Investigates and attempts resolution of communication or process issues affecting the transition of the provider or the requirements of applicable departments.
