JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for administrative support for THA's Finance and Reimbursement and Information Services departments. Serves as the Executive Assistant for the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Finance and Reimbursement and the SVP of Information Services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

2. Senior Vice President Support
a. Plans and coordinates meetings, visits, and events: managing schedules, communications, logistics/travel, catering, and supporting materials.
b. Assists in the development of presentations and memos for meetings or other member communication.
c. Schedules workgroup and committee meetings and events throughout the year for the following:
i. CFO Workgroup
ii. Supplemental Pools Taskforce
iii. Managed Care Workgroup
iv. Revenue Cycle Workgroup
v. Compliance Workgroup
vi. THA Data Policy Committee
d. Assists with planning and execution of the following events:
i. THA Annual Fall Compliance Conference
ii. Exchange Education Webinars
iii. Other webinars as needed and directed by one of the SVPs
e. Completes expense reports and monthly credit card reconciliation.
3. Department Support
a. Assists Sr. Director of Financial Policy and/or Sr. Director of Payer Relations with member communication.
b. Shares Datagen reports with members.
i. Triages associated member questions and engages appropriate staff as needed.
c. Assists with general calendar management for both departments.
d. Responsible for notetaking during various internal and external meetings.
e. Manages filing system for contracts, service agreements and other required items.
f. Orders supplies.
5. Member Management
a. Maintains and organizes member contact information for workgroups, ensuring accurate and timely updates in the member management platform.
b. Provide general oversight of the member management tool for the departments, including adding, updating and archiving contact records, and pulling contact lists.
c. Serves as a resource to members, directing them to appropriate staff for assistance.
6. Must be available in the office during regular office hours unless a hybrid work arrangement is in place or job responsibilities require otherwise.
MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Assists other departments with special events and provides back-up relief when needed.
2. Assists, as requested, in THA Annual Meeting and Small and Rural Conference.
3. Collaborates with THA Innovative Solutions staff as necessary.
4. Responds to THA member requests and questions.
5. Completes other duties as assigned.

Follows/documents processes and procedures of the role, develops those not already documented for inclusion into the Business Manual.
Responsible for maintaining accurate and timely information into the ShopVox Project Management system.
Researches and develops resources/systems that create timely and efficient workflows.
Audits and communicates complaints with management/ownership.

The mission of the Workforce Strategies and Rural Health Department of the Tennessee Hospital Association (THA) is to support and improve access to high quality healthcare services with a special focus on rural and underserved communities and hospital workforce challenges. The department manages two grants that focus on rural hospital operations improvement and the recruitment and retention of the healthcare workforce in high-need locations across the state.
One division of the department manages the day-to-day operations of the Tennessee Center for Health Workforce Development (TCWD), a wholly owned subsidiary of THA, which seeks to improve the health of Tennesseans by guiding healthcare workforce development. TCWD's programs include recruiting and placing primary care physicians, providing financial incentives to medical residents in exchange for a commitment to serve in an underserved area, providing funds to hospitals and health centers to attract qualified caregivers, matching medical residents with rural rotations, and educating Tennessee students about healthcare professions.
The second division of the department, Hospital and Health System Support, provides education and technical assistance to Tennessee's Small and Rural hospitals through THA's Small and Rural Hospital Constituency Executive Committee and the Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Grant Program (Flex) in partnership with the State Office of Rural Health within the Tennessee Department of Health. The Flex grant provides financial, operational, and quality support to critical access hospitals. In addition to the support of small and rural hospitals, this division focuses on workforce challenges specifically taking place at hospitals. Focus areas within this workforce portfolio include pipeline and pathway development between employers and secondary and post-secondary education institutions and nursing and allied health recruitment and retention practices.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for a wide range of duties in support of advancing TCWD's mission to lead healthcare workforce development in Tennessee. The PM oversees the Residency and Practice Site Incentive Programs, launches new initiatives and services as needed, and contributes to TCWD's nursing and pipeline initiatives. In addition, the PM identifies and maintains strategic partnerships in support of TCWD goals and increases statewide community engagement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
