Based in Agoura Hills, CA, this individual will be an integral contributor to a multi-site, multifunctional engineering design, and product development team. Your role will involve: * Collaborating with Hardware and System Engineers to design, develop, and refine prototypes and mock-ups for testing platforms. * Creating custom electro-mechanical test fixtures tailored to specific application needs. * Conducting hands-on verification of design requirements through physical testing and analysis in the laboratory environment. * Contributing to the full product development lifecycle by working closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain. * Partnering with suppliers to obtain quotes, manage component sourcing, and ensure that designs are manufacturable with maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness. * Participating in design reviews and ensuring that all products meet or exceed required specifications. * Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and safety guidelines throughout the design process. * Assisting with system integration and troubleshooting, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions as necessary. * Documenting all phases of design work, including changes to specifications, analysis, and results of testing. * Supporting the production of prototype hardware and transitioning designs from the prototyping phase to full-scale manufacturing. As a Senior Paralegal at Semtech, you will provide legal support to our in-house legal team, focusing primarily on contracts, intellectual property (IP), and proxy work. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal to gain experience in the semiconductor and technology industry.
