The Teresian House is currently hiring LPNs. These opportunities are for Full-Time and Part-Time evenings (2:45pm-11:15pm) and nights (10:45pm-7:15am).
Role Responsibilities:
Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by physician. Document appropriately.
Assist with direct resident care as necessary, including personal care, feeding, care of environment changes, and safety.
Ensure recording of Intakes and Output, toileting records, turning and positioning sheets and other documentation in neighborhood.
Complete incident reports and initiate investigations occurring on assigned unit, and forward to RN Nurse Manager.
Notify RN for assessment as needed.
Initiate the transfer of residents to the hospital as necessary and ensure completion of necessary paperwork.
Qualified LPN candidates will:
Have graduated a state approved school of nursing
Possess a current license as a LicensedPracticalNurse in New York State
Show the ability to work well with others.
Exhibit a genuine interest in the care of geriatric residents
Have a willingness to perform all duties to support Teresian House residents
Possess CPR certification.
