As a Payroll Specialist at Terex, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting bi-weekly payrolls for Terex across the US. Including the management of all aspects of the payroll process. What you'll do * Management and administration of bi-weekly payrolls within ADP payroll and etime. * Audit and analyze payroll data including the HRIS Workday interface, timekeeping entries, exception pay data entries and deduction change imports. * Manage standard work ensuring compliance within company policy, government regulations, internal audit controls and SOX. * Administration and management of garnishments, tax levies, child support orders. * Provide timely customer service to team members for questions via Workday Help portal. * Foster relationships with HR Partners to ensure effective receipt of payroll data, provide knowledge of applicable system needs and provide support for team member inquiries. * Partner with the Leave Administrator for entry of the biweekly leave pay. * Train HR and managers on general payroll and timekeeping policies and use of time keeping system. * Partner with teams including Compensation and Benefits with audits, exception pay data, retirement and benefit needs, stock transactions, providing reconciliations as necessary. * Proactively identify and research ADP system issues entering ADP tickets for resolution. * Reconcile wage and tax data with each biweekly pay and process adjustment pay runs as necessary for current and prior quarter adjustments. * Administer expatriate payrolls for home and host country team members. * Manage multiple priorities with strong time management skills. * Exude excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain payroll and compensation related items effectively to employees at all levels. * Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and protect employee privacy. * Maintain standard work, standard operating procedures and payroll initiatives. * Responsible for continuous process improvement identified through root cause analyses engaging other support teams as needed. * Maintain positivity, provide support and teamwork with fellow payroll team members. SUMMARY The Test Engineer IV provides senior-level technical and leadership oversight for manufacturing test operations within assigned workcells, supporting large-form assemblies (LFA) and system-level products. This role is responsible for defining, developing, and sustaining safe, robust, and efficient test strategies involving high-voltage electrical systems (480VAC / 120VAC), low-voltage controls (24VDC), Hipot testing, pressure and leak testing, and automated test solutions. The Test Engineer IV leads test engineering execution, drives design-for-testability (DFT), mentors engineering staff, and ensures all test processes meet Jabil, regulatory, and customer requirements.. Performance Management: * Establish clear measurable goals and objectives by which to determine individual and team results (i.e. operational metrics, results against project timelines, training documentation, attendance records, knowledge of operational roles and responsibilities, personal development goals). * Solicit ongoing feedback from Test Engineering Manager, Workcell Manager (WCM), Business Unit Director (BUD), peers and team member on team member's contribution to the Workcell team. Provide ongoing coaching and counseling to team member based on feedback. * Express pride in staff and encourage them to feel good about their accomplishments. * Establish measurable goals tied to safety, FPY, test yield, uptime, cycle time, and NPI readiness. * Provide ongoing coaching based on feedback from Test Engineering Management, Workcell Managers, Quality, and Operations. * Lead performance reviews professionally and on time. * Drive continuous improvement in operational and engineering KPIs. * Coordinate engineering activities during escalations, launches, or production crises. Communication: * Provide communication forum for the exchange of ideas and information with the department. * Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style. * Ask questions; encourage input from team members. * Assess communication style of individual team members and adapt own communication style accordingly. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Business Strategy and Direction: * Know and understand the campus strategic directions. * Define, develop and implement test engineering strategies, which contribute to the campus strategic directions. * Provide regular updates to Test Engineering Manager on the execution of the strategy. Cost Management: * Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value-added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems). * Utilize tools to monitor departmental cost and cost trends, striving continuously to improve value. * Provide feedback to Test Engineering Manager on cost and cost trends. TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead the workcell team (assigned to customer) as a Lead Project Engineer. * Serve as Lead Test Engineer / Project Engineer for assigned customer workcells and programs. * Own and communicate system-level test strategies to customer engineering teams. * Design, develop, and sustain test processes covering: * 480VAC and 120VAC electrical power and functional testing * 24VDC control systems and interlock validation * Hipot / dielectric withstand testing * Pressure testing, leak detection, pre-air, and vacuum testing * Safety interlocks, emergency stop validation, and compliance checks * Drive Design for Testability (DFT) by influencing product design, schematics, P&IDs, and control logic early in NPI. * Define and validate test methods for large-form assemblies and safety-critical systems. * Lead development of custom test equipment, fixtures, and automated test scripts (Python, PLC-based logic, or equivalent). * Own validation of test equipment, including GR&R, calibration strategy, and capability studies where required. * Manage and improve system-level test performance, yield, and robustness. * Identify test coverage gaps and implement corrective actions. * Lead failure analysis, trend analysis, and root cause investigations related to test escapes or yield loss. * Support and oversee NPI readiness, including test station build, validation, and ramp support. * Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Operations to deploy safe, scalable test solutions. * Ensure compliance with electrical safety, pressure safety, UL/IEC requirements, and internal Jabil standards. * Enforce adherence to EHS, security, and safety policies across all test activities. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline required. Ten (10) or more years of progressive experience in manufacturing test engineering, including system-level or large-form assembly testing. Demonstrated experience with high-voltage systems, safety-critical testing, automation/scripting, and cross-functional leadership. FUNCTIONAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES Business Strategy and Direction: * Know and understand the campus strategic directions. * Define, develop and implement a customer/workcell strategy that contributes to the campus strategic directions. * Develop an understanding of the Functional business strategies as they pertain to the workcell/customer. * Provide regular updates to the Function Manager, Business Unit Manager, and Assistant Operations Manager on the execution of the strategy. * Identify resource requirements that meet the needs of the workcell and the customer/product (i.e. machines, lines, visuals). * Communicate resource requirements to Function Managers. Cost Management: * Develop the monthly business unit forecast with the Business Unit Manager. * Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value-added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems). * Utilize tools to monitor department cost and cost trends, striving continuously to improve value. * Provide feedback to Business Unit Manager and Assistant Operations Manager on costs and cost trends. Forecast Development and Accuracy: * Prepare timely forecasts for the workcell. * Compare forward forecast results to historical actual results for trend assessment and analysis. * Complete variance of actual results versus the forecast on time and communicate results to Business Unit Manger, Assistant Operations Manager, Operations Manager and Workcell Team. TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES * Train the workcell teams on the validity of management by metrics and with the team monitor all workcell metrics. * Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management. * Assure that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant. * Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identify and implement new practices and processes. * Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority. * Lead by example. * Exchange knowledge and information with other in-house units and Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the Jabil organization. * Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately. * Review all internal and external business plans, process changes, and personnel changes related to Workcell.
