    We're seeking an Associate Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional to join our TERI team! TERI changes the way the world sees, helps, and empowers individuals touched by special needs. The Associate Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional is responsible for the operation and direct supervision of one assigned residential group home to include staff scheduling, on-site staff training, quality assurance, resident programming, evaluation of program effectiveness, specific administrative functions and direct client care, when necessary, with intent to move into the QIDP position upon request. Your Role & Responsibilities - Provides direct care as needed for adults who with intellectual and developmental disabilities and who may engage in aggressive, assaultive acting-out behaviors that require approved Behavior Emergency Safety Training (BEST) techniques. Must possess the ability to safely perform BEST techniques. Ensures provision of an Active Treatment program for each individual. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and agency policies and procedures relative to the operation of an ICF/DD-H residential facility. Evaluates effectiveness and participates in the design of client programs. Coordinates individual ISP's to include assisting in the development of Skills Training Data Sheets, Quarterly Reports, Individual Service Plans, Strengths and Needs Assessments and Functional Assessments. Provides direct program delivery in accordance with the individual service plans. Reviews all training programs and provides on-going training of facility staff and volunteers. Coordinates work schedules for direct care staff and weekend activities. Conducts monthly chart audits and chart thinning in facilities. Oversees medical and/or dental care programs for clients, prepares related documentation, and coordinates with the facility R.N. and other medical personnel. Assists with medical and dental appointments. Distributes client medications and provides basic medical treatment, as necessary. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in Human Services, Psychology, Education, Social Work, or related field. One-year of related experience and/or training working with developmental disabilities individuals. Assures clients' rights, safety, welfare and health at all times. Program Aide This position works as an integral member of a team to assist in activities in the areas of the classroom, kitchen and bus services on an as needed basis. The position contains elements of the job descriptions of positions titled teacher assistant, classroom aide, bus aide, custodial aide and kitchen aide as well as requires the incumbent to perform some light cleaning duties. This classification typically works with developing children and/or children with special needs. Projected Schedule: Up to 20 hours a week providing in home ABA early afternoon and evening hours, occasional weekends Salary: $45-$65 per hour based on experience Qualifications: Master's degree in education, psychology, human development or a related field Valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification At least (3) three years' experience providing in-home insurance funded services At least (3) years' experience working with the developmentally disabled population with an emphasis on severe behaviors as well as teenage and adult clients. At least (3) years' experience providing supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians Prefer prior experience and/or training with positive behavior supports as well as hands-on emergency behavior management techniques (i.e. Pro-Act, CPI, ABA, Assaultive Behavior Safety Training - ABST, Positive Approaches to Behavior Strategies - PABS) Must have an acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, California class C driver's license, and provide proof of insurability of personal vehicle. Key Responsibilities: Participates in new and existing client assessment and/or intake, to include conducting functional behavioral assessment and/or analysis as well as other assessments; developing Adaptive Behavior Support Plans (or BIPS); develop and/or oversee development of data collection forms; review/update of plans and assessments; progress reporting and monitoring; development and provision of information as required by funding sources, and other paperwork related to provision of services to clients. Oversees RBTs in their duties, to include providing training; review and approval of paperwork generated by RBTs; performance evaluations in conjunction with the Associate Director; performance management; and supervision of their provision of services in all service settings. Schedules and coordinates services with and for clients in conjunction with the Operations Manager. Provision of direct services and supports to clients, as needed, in home, community, and clinical settings, to include instruction, data collection, behavior support, and emergency behavior intervention techniques as trained and appropriate. Transportation to community training sites, as needed or assigned. Protects client welfare and best interests at all times, to include assistance with advocacy, medical/personal/social needs and other individual client needs. Attends, participates in, develops, or leads meetings related to clients and provision of in-home, community, or clinic-based ABA services. Polish and ensure that all meeting rooms have water glasses, silverware, and all other standard meeting set-up. Check and maintain all assigned storerooms have been cleaned and organized. Ensure that all linen and skirts are free from stains and tears when being used for an event. Ensure that the meeting rooms have been completed, cleaned, and checked by a Banquet Captain or Manager on Duty before the end of their shift.
