What is this role about?
This key role is responsible for leading all aspects of Sales and Service for one of our medium to large-sized (based on revenue) Terminix branch locations across the country.
What does a “Day-in-the-Life” look like?
The Branch Manager is accountable for all facets of operation for one of our Terminix locations. This includes team leadership, staff training and development, customer satisfaction and retention, service delivery, operational efficiency and new business development - all supported by Terminix's corporate resources and business model.
Here are a few more specifics of what you would be doing on the job:
Managing branch P&L - monitoring financial performance and expenses, driving growth, ensuring revenue and profit plans are achieved
Fostering a positive work environment that motivates associates and drives customer satisfaction
Directly managing the branch Sales team and branch supervisors
Overseeing Service operations along with the Branch Service Manager
Recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training branch staff
Monitoring regulatory compliance, quality control standards and ensuring safety
Ensuring alignment with Terminix business model and guidelines, including implementing company programs and initiatives
What do I need to be successful?
Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years managing associates in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to relocate is highly desirable
Profit & loss and/or experience in sales management is strongly preferred
You are able to effectively lead and motivate others through coaching, mentoring, etc.
You have strong communications skills - impersonal, written, presenting
You possess strong time management and organizational skills
You are good at problem solving and coming up with practical solutions
You build rapport easily and establish trust with customers and employees
You are proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
You have a good aptitude for basic/intermediate math-- necessary for doing calculations related to sales and service
A valid driver's license is required

Position Overview

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN
As a Pest Control Technician, you are excited to start your route each day. Not only will you be recognized as a hero to our customers as you save them from pesky intruders, but you will also create lifelong client relationships. You will determine prescribed treatment as marked on inspection graph and specification sheet and prepare site areas for treatment by removing and hauling off debris as prescribed. Additionally, you will apply any of the following wood destroying organism treatments and techniques to customers' buildings and structures: Termite bait station (Sentricon) installation with auger and digging tools, Trenching and applying liquid treatment to exterior or crawl space perimeters of structures, Drilling and applying liquid treatment to void spaces or blocks in the crawl spaces and structures, Spray application of product to affected areas. The primary purpose of this role is to perform our industry leading pest management services for commercial customers. Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders
You need to be comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder along with working in small confined spaces.
General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is plus
Ability to work on a roofs and high areas
Lots of moving around - regularly sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
You'll need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator, and you'll need to be okay with regularly working in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways (anywhere the critters live)
What do you need?
Clean shaven face- for safety reasons (rebreathers have to be able to seal your face)
High school diploma or GED
Must pass pre-employment background screen
Valid driver's license/clean driving record (Company vehicle and gas card provided)
At least 1 years of customer service, experience in termite control is a plus
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Be flexible with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)
Basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. You'll need to be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels.

Hourly: $16.50 - $22.40
