    Preparing all alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for guests Assessing bar customer needs and preferences and be able to make personalized recommendations Stock and maintain bar area to resort and health department standards Provide an exceptional and memorable guest experience Participate in ongoing training for professional development Responsibilities Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests sitting at the bar Set up bar and bar area according to resort standards Cut fruit and prepare garnishes as set by resort standards for service Consistently keep the bar area organized and clean Know all specialty cocktail ingredients and garnishes Participate in updated training for the bar and menu items Be able to follow pouring procedures appropriately; all drink recipes must utilize a jigger for accurate measurement; no deviation from the recipes are allowed. Notify Supervisors immediately of any product shortages or out-of-stock items Have a working knowledge of draft beer systems and how to properly change a keg Answer questions on menu selections and drinks to servers and guests Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, recooking orders, and product availability Record all transactions in MICROS system at time of order accurately Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day Complete closing duties, including restocking items to set par levels, turning off lights, etc. Present physical and accurate check to guests and process payments Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to resort standards Anticipate and address guests` service needs Speak with others using a clear and professional language Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support your team to reach common goals Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
