We are looking for a Territory Manager in the Company's Canadian Western Region to drive growth of our Echologics leak detection and monitoring products, ePulse pipeline condition assessment services, i2O, Hydro-Guard pressure monitoring and flushing systems, and distribution system assessment services.
Reporting to the Canada Regional Manager - Water Management Solutions, the successful candidate will be trained to uncover and nurture sales opportunities, and work with channel partners including distributors, manufacturer's representatives, value-added resellers and other Mueller sales teammates to close sales. Through a combination of technology evangelization, networking, and the use of solutions selling methodology for aligning our offerings with customer needs, the Territory Manager will further Mueller Water Products as the leading provider of solutions for aging water infrastructure and non-revenue water problems. The position will involve up to 75% travel for meetings with clients within the sales territory.

Responsibilities for the position include:
Overall responsibility for sales targets in the assigned territory Manage channel partner assigned in territory including technical enquiries, opportunity management and quota establishment and performance monitoring.Work closely with various Mueller inside sales technical teams to build technical product and service offerings.Extensive travel throughout the assigned territory, with a travel target of 50% to 75%Understanding clients' needs, and designing solutions with Mueller technologies and services Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers, agents & distributors Preparation of quotations, technical proposals, RFP and tender responses, presentations, etc.Negotiating and closing sales / tenders, and after-sales support services / follow up Recording and maintaining client contact data through company CRM system Understand and demonstrate the company's products and services Marketing, such as attending conferences, publishing technical papers and case studies, etc.
Other duties as may be assigned by the company

Position Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, in Engineering or a science discipline
Proven track record of exceeding established sales quotas and/or technical experience Minimum 5 years of work experience in technical and/or sales roles, preferably in the water industry Ability to work independently to drive sales in assigned territory
