Duties include:
Conducts the engagement process with families to identify natural/formal supports as outlined in the Arizona Model, Child and Family Team (CFT) process, and Regional BehavioralHealth Authority (RBHA) for enrolled families.
Facilitates CFT/Service Plan meetings according to the Arizona Model and RBHA guidelines in order to create individualized service plans as identified by the CFT members.
Ensures families understand the behavioralhealth process, the role of CFT Facilitator, and ensure family participation that links them to natural or community-based supports.
Coordinates and schedules CFT/Service Plan meetings with natural, formal supports, and system stakeholders
Submits appropriate referrals to clinical outpatient services within agency and other behavioralhealth providers identified by the CFT.
Updates and maintains electronic medical records on each case which include but not limited to; Annual Assessment Update, RBHA demographics, Child and adolescent service intensity instrument (CALOCUS), and CFT/Service Plan
Completes strength assessments and crisis/safety plans with families according to RBHA and the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) guidelines.
Develops positive supportive relationships with consumers, family, stakeholders, and other Terros employees and Boys and Girls Club employees. Actively leads group prevention or therapeutic group activities at assigned Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley locations.

Qualifications
Education/Experience:
GED/High school diploma with a minimum of 1.5 years of behavioralhealth experience or,
An associate's degree in the field of medical or behavioralhealth, or
A bachelor's degree (not in the field of behavioralhealth) and 1 year of behavioralhealth experience, or
A bachelor's degree in the field of behavioral, or
A master's degree or higher in the field of behavioralhealth
Preferred - Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, electronic medical record, NextGen preferred
Valid AZ Driver License. Must have valid Arizona driver's license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience, and meet requirements of Terros Health's driving policy
Must pass DCS Central Registry check without any disqualifying events.
Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) or apply for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card within 7 working days of employment
Interpersonal skills which allow for professional and positive relationships with co-workers, members, families, and other community members
Good communication skills, evidenced by a non-judgmental approach, effective listening and positive interactions
Basic understanding of the DSM-V preferred
Certified Case Manager strongly preferred
Must have or be able to attain CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of assuming role
Must pass background check, TB test and other pre-employment screening

As the BehavioralHealthTechnician, you will provide basic patient care under the direction of the nursing staff with a focus on patient safety. Perform general and specialized data collection, clerical and administrative duties in support of the program.
Essential Duties Include:
Promotes patient safety through awareness of the environment of care and in all action that involve patient care.
Communicates patient safety issues quickly, clearly and effectively.

Obtain and report accurate vital sign readings. Accompany patients on appointment.
Provide 1:1 and Line of Sight monitoring for patients when order received.
Performs unit clerk duties to include data collection, clerical, and administrative duties, completing all appropriate documentation according to the policies and procedures of the facility.
Ability to converse in English with others to give, take and process information; extensive use of telephone.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information, multi-task, coordinate projects and record/transcribe general and specific meeting minutes.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) required.

Description About the RoleCopa Health is hiring BehavioralHealthTechnicians (BHTs) to support individuals in our community and housing-based programs across the East Valley. In this hands-on role, you'll promote safety, wellness, and recovery by providing daily support, skill-building, and active treatment aligned to each person's treatment/behavior plan. Hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 2:30 PM-10:30 PM (consistent evening schedule)
Worksites: East Valley locations in Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, and Gilbert
Starting Pay: $17.00-$18.00/hour, depending on experience
Extra Pay: Enjoy shift differentials on top of base pay +$1.00/hr for evenings and an additional +$0.50/hr for weekend shifts. What You'll DoAs a BehavioralHealthTechnician, you will:
Provide consistent monitoring and support to ensure member safety and well-being
Assist, teach, coach, and mentor members in daily living skills (hygiene, housekeeping, budgeting, shopping, community resources, activities, etc.)
Support members with self-administration of medication and maintain corresponding records
Safely transport members to appointments and community activities
Promote health and wellness activities and support recovery goals
Help plan meals and prepare well-balanced menus that meet dietary needs
Document clinical services accurately and on time within the member record
Maintain required billable hours and performance standards
Report incidents, accidents, infections/infestations, and follow required procedures
Follow agency policies, licensure standards, and training requirements
Complete other duties as needed to support program operations
Minimum QualificationsYou're a great fit if you have one of the following:

Behavioral health technician job at Terros Health
As a BHT Clinician at Terros Health you will provide a safe and secure environment for our clients in a residential setting, engage them in skills training, designed to enhance functioning leading to community integration and self-sufficiency in living, learning, social and work environments. You will be responsible for screenings, assessments, treatment planning, case load management, crisis management and coordination of care.
You will provide direct support to our clients, engaging them in Independent Living Skills (ILS) activities, health and wellness promotion, personal assistance services, rehabilitation and vocational skills, training and development services, transportation services and crisis management. You will be responsible for overseeing the medication process and submit clinical documentation.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
A High School Diploma/GED and at least 1.5 years of relevant experience in a behavioralhealth setting; OR
An associate's degree in a behavioralhealth field; OR
A bachelor's degree in the behavioralhealth field; OR
A non-behavioralhealth field bachelor's degree and one year of relevant experience in a behavioralhealth setting.
Must pass DCS Central Registry check without any disqualifying events.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Background check.
Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm.
Valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain an Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Current Arizona Driver License and a current satisfactory 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
