Develops short-term crisis management/safety plans with clients or families including having knowledge/understanding of the involuntary petition process. Makes appropriate referrals to other agencies and/or long-term counseling when appropriate. Supports psychiatric hospital placements by providing coordination, planning and facilitation with hospital staff. Maintains client records and completes required documentation in the electronic health record in an accurate and timely manner, Displays flexibility and ability to adapt to change. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have or be able to attain CPR/First Aid Certification within 60 days of assuming role. Seeking a Peer Support Specialist to join our interdisciplinary clinical team working with individuals diagnosed with a Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or General Mental Health diagnosis providing living skills training, personal assitance, and peer and family support.
