Job Summary:
The Senior Electrical Estimator provides leadership in high-value bid strategy, cost analysis, and project pursuit. This role ensures that electrical estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with client and company requirements while mentoring junior estimators and refining estimating best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead estimating efforts complex and high-value electrical construction projects from pre-bid through final submission
Perform QA/QC reviews for all electrical bids to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications
Lead estimating efforts for complex or high-value electrical construction projects, from pre-bid strategy to final submission
Mentor and train junior estimators, fostering skill development and process consistency
Maintain and grow strategic relationships with electrical contractors, general contractors, engineers, and suppliers
Leverage deep market knowledge and competitive intelligence to position the company for long-term success
Contribute to refining estimating processes, templates, and best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency
Support executive and sales leadership with cost models, risk analyses, and bid/no-bid recommendations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Construction Management, or related discipline; advanced certifications in estimating or project management preferred
5+ years of progressive experience in electrical estimating, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
Demonstrated leadership ability with a history of mentoring junior estimators
Expert-level proficiency in electrical estimating software and the ability to implement process improvements
Deep understanding of industry trends, cost structures, and competitive positioning strategies. Specialty in water/wastewater preferred

The PLC Applications Engineer writes PLC programs, OIT programs, and software control descriptions for controlling various water and/or wastewater processes. This is the ideal role for an Automation Engineer with a passion for the analysis, design, programming, debugging and modification of programmable logic for such applications. Senior Programmers, for us have the ability and willingness to train and aid other programmers, along with assisting in the development of departmental best practices and standards.
Essential Functions:
Write PLC operating program based upon control specification and/or Tesco standards to assure safe, reliable and optimal equipment operation
Write (publish) concise operating instructions detailing; control parameters and their effects under normal and failure conditions
Provide technical assistance (phone or job-site) to verify and/or modify PLC program
Perform customer training and assist sales force with product presentations
Work with various departments internally, along with consulting engineers, customers and end-users to assure proper system layouts and designs
Assist in training other employees on any aspect above

Position Description:

Requirements
Essential Functions:
Configures parameters and troubleshoots VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)
Troubleshoots instrumentation and control systems using electrical ladder schematics
Calibrates, traces, and corrects control loop malfunctions; participates in the maintenance and production concerning instrument systems
Verifies accuracy of gauges and measuring instruments such as pressure, flow, temperature, pH, turbidity, and conductivity; documents failure rates on specified equipment
Start-up Commissioning Pump/Motor Controls
Loop Check wires from Field to Monitoring Devices
Inspect/Commission/Calibrate Instrumentation (Pressure/Level/Flow)
Inspect/Commission/Calibrate Analytical Sensors (pH/Chlorine/Turbidity)
Troubleshoot Electrical/Control Logic
Troubleshoot Instrumentation (Pressure/Level/Flow)
Wire modifications to panels per drawings
Site installations of electrical devices/motor controls
Repairs, tests, adjusts, or installs electronic equipment such as industrial controls, transmitters, HMI, VFD, and PLCs
Assembles, installs or repairs wiring, electrical and electronic components
Other duties as required
Qualifying Skills:

Education and Knowledge:
College degree preferred or high school with relevant experience
Experience working in a team environment

Experience in writing routine reports and correspondence
Experience in speaking effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Understanding and practice of AC/DC Voltage measurement

The PLC Applications Engineer writes PLC programs, OIT programs, and software control descriptions for controlling various water and/or wastewater processes. This is the ideal role for an Automation Engineer with a passion for the analysis, design, programming, debugging and modification of programmable logic for such applications. Senior Programmers, for us have the ability and willingness to train and aid other programmers, along with assisting in the development of departmental best practices and standards.
Essential Functions:
Write PLC operating program based upon control specification and/or Tesco standards to assure safe, reliable and optimal equipment operation
Write (publish) concise operating instructions detailing; control parameters and their effects under normal and failure conditions
Provide technical assistance (phone or job-site) to verify and/or modify PLC program
Perform customer training and assist sales force with product presentations
Work with various departments internally, along with consulting engineers, customers and end-users to assure proper system layouts and designs
Assist in training other employees on any aspect above
