We have an exciting opportunity for the right individual as a warehouse operator for our Regional Distribution Center in Elkridge, MD. The warehouse operator will be a 2nd (afternoon) shift position and report directly to the First Line Manager.
The Role of the Warehouse Operator
* Responsible for the picking and completion of Dealer orders in a safe and timely manner
* Responsible for the put-away of inbound material according to prescribed procedures while meeting benchmarks set by management and the company
* Responsible for carrying out all responsibilities in a manner which is not only safe to the individual, but also safe to the environment he/she is working in

This level performs activities that do not require operating heavy machinery (e.g., moving product from reachable racks, using RF guns, etc.). When issues arise, this level seeks assistance from a MaterialHandler II or Lead or their respective supervisor who will support problem-solving.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
All MaterialHandler positions perform one or more of the following functions as assigned:
Unloading: Facilitating unloading, separation, and palletization of materials
Put-away: Scanning and moving product from one location to its destination location (performs secondary scans at final location to ensure accuracy)
Residual Picking: Selecting individual items from the warehouse inventory to satisfy demand, scanning bin locations, item, and counting them to ensure proper item and quantities picked
Induction: Working an automated sorting table, scanning UPCs to load product onto the correct robots; utilizing a computer to systematically sort product at high speeds
Closeout: Using an RF scanner to complete an order and place it on a static conveyer to be sent to packing
Packing / Quality Control: Scanning products and LPNs to ensure orders are correct; placing shipping labels and completing the packaging process
Dock Sorting: Organizing, categorizing, and consolidating orders onto carrier pallets
Value Added Service: Applying UPCs and/or other customer-specific requirements to product or processes
Returns: Processing RMAs (receipts) by validating quantities, segregating product, and ensuring that product received matches the RMAs; facilitating put-away process in the WMS and corresponding to customer service teams to finalize receipt posting in ERP
Transfers: Converting product from one customer specification to another; documenting the conversions in all systems to ensure accurate tracking
Quality Assurance: Ensuring that product quality is performing to Vendor Production Guide (VPG) standards and making action plans to remedy issues with vendors
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow processes and procedures with a high level of accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology
Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory

**Qualifications:**

Job Description
This role supports the distribution of materials & Customer Product Equipment (CPE) to various boundary partners (Field Service Technicians, Installation Contractors, Solution Stores, 3rd Party Stores, etc.). This individual will research and resolve supply chain inventory issues. They will utilize applications to track, log, and understand inventory levels. They will provide pickup, delivery, and loading/unloading of CPE, materials, equipment and mail by safely operating fleet vehicles. Takes direction and guidance from higher level Supply Chain Specialists.
Travel: Position requires travel to and from Tulsa warehouse to work shifts as needed and deliver Cox equipment in the area.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Receiving and put away into assigned Bin/Row locations of CPE shipments and Material products from a Primary Distribution Center (PDC) or manufacturer.
* Fulfillment of CPE and Material orders to various boundary partners (Field Service Technicians, Installation Contractors, Solution Stores, 3rd Party Stores, etc.) as well as monitoring inventory levels and restocking appropriately.
* Utilizes Warehouse Management System (WMS) applications & scanners to perform warehouse functions.
* Processes CPE returns by utilizing WMS application to prepare CPE returns for shipment back to the PDC. Includes sorting, boxing, labeling, shrink wrapping & staging of CPE returns on pallets.
* Monitor and restock Quick Pick locations to maintain adequate inventory levels.
* Utilizes light warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks and carts.
* Displays necessary skills needed to safely operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and larger delivery vehicles, which are used to provide pickup, delivery, and loading/unloading of CPE, materials, equipment, and mail.
* May assist in daily cycle counts to audit physical and systemic accuracy of inventory at a warehouse or assigned to boundary partner.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum-
* High School Diploma/GED
* Generally less than 2 years' experience in a related field
* Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required
* Requires knowledge of basic computing skills (i.e. E-mail, Microsoft Office, etc.)
* Capability to develop aptitude for basic warehouse inventory management systems (CHAT, Oracle, ICOMS, etc.)
* Ability to learn how to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, stretch wrap machine, etc.)

Job Description
This role makes the decisions for staging vehicles and also makes decisions for the timing of the van crews to pick up. This position is also responsible labelling all cars in preparation for crew leader movements. Safe management of move areas on the auction property and the coordination of crews between each area in compliance with safety and driving rules.
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Friday 7:30 am- 2 pm
Pay rate: $17.35 per hr.
Job Responsibilities:
* Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner.
* Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on Auction premises and to and from customer dealerships and businesses, while observing Auction driving rules, rules of the road and demonstrating courtesy and defensive driving principles.
* Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by supervisor or team leader, move vehicles as necessary, and locate "lost" vehicles.
* Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed. If necessary, inflate tires and jump start vehicles using a battery box and air tank. Notify supervisor when a vehicle is inoperative; notify Service or Gas Truck Driver when vehicle is out of gas.
* Assist customers (i.e., dealers, account representatives, rental agencies, etc.) and coworkers as needed.
