Coordinate and lead problem solving projects for customer and internal issues.
Ensure “Recovery Cost” in time to quality issues with suppliers and “0KM Cost” from customers.
Coordination of movements of raw materials and finished goods at quarantine.
Interaction with Customer Team Q.E. or ZQU to ensure quality requirements through the methodical use of Lessons Learned, PFMEA, Capability Studies, Poka-Yokes.
Maintain continual communication with vendors, internal and external customer ensuring immediate resolution of issues.
Regular update SAP QIM system, generate failure cost reports and provide information on any relevant topics to top management regarding customer and/or supplier issues.
PPAP updates for suppliers and customers. Ability to navigate and evaluate GECOS in SAP.
Create training documents on SAP Quality Module and train new Quality Engineers on SAP QM processes (Complaint management, Quality Planning, Failure costs, etc.).
Other duties assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

As a Torque Process Engineer, you will manage and oversee all fastening process requirements related to torque. Your primary focus will be ensuring compliance with Process Control Plans (PCPs) and Tool & Equipment Bulletins (T&E), while driving continuous improvement and maintaining robust documentation.

Ensure torque controller programming aligns with APM and PCP requirements.

Perform correlation studies for torque issues and implement corrective strategies.
Review torque data daily and provide actionable insights.
Manage calibration schedules for torque tools and maintain PFMEAs in FIT database.
Complete annual reviews and oversee RPN reduction projects.
Utilize databases and monitoring systems to interpret data effectively.

The Role:
The Paint Process Engineer position is a fast-paced manufacturing engineering position in which you will work with paint robots, circulation systems, air handlers and ovens. The Arlington Paint Process Engineer is responsible for auditing and validating all processes required for painting GM's full-sized SUVs.
