    What to Expect The Recycling Associate is part of a larger Workplace team responsible for making sure our Gigafactory customers (our Tesla employees) are happy at work. Our ideal Recycling Associate can work autonomously and in a team environment. A successful Recycling Associate candidate will be mindful of personal cleanliness while keeping Gigafactory Nevada organized and presentable. This position is physically active and requires the ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time. What You'll Do * Transporting recyclables, scrap and trash throughout the factory, sort and segregate materials to maximize value * Operating heavy equipment including cardboard balers, pallet jacks, foam densifiers and other recycling equipment * Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, protect company assets and ensure your safety and the safety of all others * Adhere to quality expectations and standards, follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to Supervisor * Develop and maintain positive working relationships with your workplace team and all production teams Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors including those assigned to support cross functional teams * Exposure to various weather conditions.     What to Expect As an Excavator Operator, you will be expected to contribute on job sites in Northern California and Southern California, The Southwest US, and Pacific Northwest US.
