Work for the Cargo unit of a leading airline testing web & SOA solutions for various business units in a fast paced, collaborative environment using a full suite of QA automation tools.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes. Technical skills include: Must possess 3-4 yrs solid hands-on experience in executing and modifying automated test cases using ITKO Lisa's test tool. Must have 1-2 years exp using Agile SDLC Methodology. Must have at least 2 years of writing automated test scripts. Must have 2 years of SQL. Must have 1-2 yrs hands-on experience in the use of Quick Test Pro (QTP) with VB scripting.
Education/Experience
o Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field preferred
o 8-10 years experience required
Responsibility level
o Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor and will typically give direction to one or more lower level testers
Skills
o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)
o Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)
o Strong mentoring skills
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Review and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
o Review and execute testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
o Review documentation of software defects and assign software developers to investigate and resolve the issue
o Review and approve test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
o Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
