Job Description
Turner & Townsend are seeking an experienced Sr Quality Assurance PM, Mechanical to join our team in support of the Data Center Construction team. The ideal individual will have prior experience supporting large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities:
Effectively manage and collaborate with project stakeholders.
Effective communication across our internal team to ensure efficiency and a consistent delivery to the client.
Can analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
Verify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized.
Ensure application of best practice on all projects.
Production of formal project status reports and other reports as required.
Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are being applied correctly.
Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications.
Forecast and update key project milestones.
Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria.
Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders.
Rapid response to RFIs from the field.
Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where required.
Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers.
Client management - assist in developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunities.
Strategic Thinking - provides advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients' objectives and business objectives.
Knowledge management - ensure that key information and learnings generated from each project is captured.
Process improvement - Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes
SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
Program Responsibilities:
Cross-functional collaboration with all stakeholders including but not limited to the Client Quality Assurance team, Cx Agent, GC and trade partners, AE team and equipment vendors.
Chair and manage quality control meetings including stakeholder kickoff, weekly maintenance meetings and a culminating scope completion meeting including final scope walk and report.
Detail tracking of RFIs and driving issue resolution.
Manage and issue weekly reporting and escalations
Provide weekly GC schedule reviews, issue comments and provide solution based feedback.
Coordinate inspections with trade partners and local AHJ.
Observation closure verification
Handover documentation collection and management
Final commissioning collaboration
Development of lessons learned documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or applicable bachelor's degree and or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant project management experience, specifically working with mechanical systems in the built environment.
Strong organizational and management skills - ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team.
Background working in design or construction with a mechanical or BMS controls experience.
AND/OR Background working in a vendor equipment factory supporting quality control processes of mechanical equipment.
AND/OR Background working in commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment in mission critical data centers.
Proficiency managing construction documents including BODs, specifications, contract drawings, C/D/E's, equipment submittals and RFIs.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, Project, Smartsheets, and other construction project management tools

Discuss testing outcomes with participants including offering positive support and making confrontational inquiries appropriate to the circumstance.
Develop a random testing schedule.
Maintain a variety of excel spreadsheets for program reference and data collection.
Complete data entry in the Drug Court Case Management Information System regarding substance abuse testing, court incentives/sanctions, ancillary services, and fee assignment.
Participate in planning sessions to coordinate and problem solve with program staff to address multiple problem areas affecting participants.
Attend court sessions on a biweekly basis.
Testify at court regarding results of contested screens when necessary.
Maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive information.
Assist with recidivism inquiries in the Michigan State Police Internet Criminal History Access Tool.
Perform administrative tasks as directed by program staff.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND/OR WORKING CONDITIONS:

Support cleaning and sterilization (including CIP/SIP, manual cleaning, steam sterilization) development activities.
