Pay range: $17-$25, Based on experience Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM The position is responsible for connecting machine electrical devices, such as motors, sensors, etc. Wiring also includes terminating wires in control panels to the terminal strips according to wire numbers, as shown on the drawings. Their duties may also include installing raceways such as wireway, ladder tray, and other raceways to hold the cables.
Essential Functions:
• Wire devices on machines according to documentation and/or instruction.
• Use hand power tools to install raceways and other devices on machines.
• Install wires into terminal strips properly and label wires.

Competencies:

The Mechanical Assembler I - 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) is an entry level position and is responsible for the assembly of simple mechanical seals. Perform a variety of repetitive operations to assemble mechanical seals, products and sub-assemblies. Uses a variety of common hand tools and simple machines. Stores and retrieves materials as required. Must be able to work overtime as required, maintain a positive and focuses attitude, and be willing to support all of the team's goals and objectives.

All fully remote positions will require you to travel on site 2-4 times per month depending upon business needs at your own expense.
Hybrid positions will require employees to work both on-site and remote each week under a schedule that has been determined and agreed upon by you and your manager.

Maintains clean and organized work area in accordance to 5S policies and procedures.

Study blueprints or manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation or operation of machinery.

The Electrical Assembler will:
Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and work orders to assemble equipment.
Plan, pull, terminate, and label electrical wiring as part of the machine assembly process.
Build electrical sub-assemblies such as control panels and operator stations.
Install, fit, or adjust electrical components using basic hand tools.
Inspect and test assembled products to verify proper function and conformance to specifications.
Make repairs or adjustments to correct defects in electrical equipment or assemblies.
Perform mechanical assembly functions: clean parts, take measurements, and fabricate/modify components as needed.
Complies with all Butech Bliss safety rules.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Strong candidates for this position will meet the following expectations:
Three plus years of experience assembling complex machinery with a focus on electrical wiring, control system components, and panel building.
Demonstrated ability to read and work from blueprints and schematics.
Basic experience with PLC startup, I/O checkout, and general machine control troubleshooting.
Basic mechanical assembly skills including installation of conduit, simple welding, positioning of components, and general understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic component function.
Experience with overhead cranes/hoists and comfortable working with large, heavy components.
Motivated with the ability to work towards deadlines.
Ability to work alone or as part of a small team.
Must supply own toolbox with basic hand tools.
Willingness to work overtime including Saturdays and occasional field service work.
