We are now looking for a motivated Garage & Test Track Build Program Manager to use your creativity to work on the autonomous vehicle program with the highly inventive and knowledgeable team. We are looking for your expertise in garage facility, IT, or track design to complement our team.
What you'll be doing:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including facilities, operations, engineering, external vendors, and other partners to successfully build garages and test tracks Gather and consolidate requirements on garages and test tracks, including capacity, equipment, infrastructure, and IT from stakeholders Monitor, measure, and communicate project progress, risks / issues, and schedule updates

What we need to see:
Bachelor's degree in construction science and management, engineering architecture, business administration, civil or structural engineering, or a related degree (or equivalent experience) Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) preferred6+ years of construction or IT experience

The CDC Foundation is working with CDC and state and local authorities to provide surge staffing that is crucial to the nation's COVID-19 response including support for implementation of Covid-19 vaccine. We are seeking candidates for the Program Manager role.

The Program Manager will assist in the overall management of the schools Team under the supervision of the School Program Lead for the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). This Program Manager will serve as a point of contact to all schools and districts interested in information about the California K-12 School Testing Program. Additionally, this individual will serve as a liaison between schools and all vendors that provide testing services to the State of California. The position will provide technical assistance to schools and districts to assist them in making testing strategy choices. In addition, the candidate will optimize and improve all processes related to enrollment, training, and tracking of involved districts, liaise with all involved stakeholders to ensure the success of the project, and assess any upcoming needs of the project development. The position will make recommendations to leadership as well as represent the CDC Foundation and CDPH through a variety of stakeholder engagement activities.

ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership, oversight, and technical assistance for California K-12 Schools Testing Program in multiple areas, including but not limited to data analysis, reporting and compliance, program and policy development, outreach, and operations Plan and implement technical assistance and consultation sessions for schools and school districts to share challenges and best practices, identify areas for improvement, and develop plans to improve processes and procedures Develop and implement metrics to assess the quality of the K-12 schools testing activities and implement strategies for program improvement Review and incorporate CDC guidance, peer-reviewed literature, and best practices on topics specific to COVID-19 testing into CDPH guidance, policies, and processes Provide input on programmatic feasibility and effectiveness from a state and local public health program perspective Provide public health and programmatic input on data analysis and interpretation Provide input on testing policy guidance for K-12 schools Represent the CDC Foundation and CDPH Testing Taskforce in dealings with local health jurisdictions, state government, CDPH consultants, community-based organizations, schools, and other stakeholders Work with school and district staff develop and implement testing systems and strategies to ensure consistent, high-quality enrollment, training, and tracking processes Respond to all School Testing Program inquiries from schools and districts and ensure information communicated is accurate and timely Serve as liaison between schools participating in the School Testing Program and vendors providing testing services Provide oversight and technical assistance to schools and districts to facilitate appropriate decision-making around testing choices Manage all aspects of project development and implementation, including anticipation and identification of future needs Foster and maintain relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of the School Testing Program goals and implementation strategy Keep abreast of and develop specialized knowledge of COVID-19 testing and tracking policies, procedures, and best practices Develop and implement metrics to assess the quality of Testing Taskforce activities and implement strategies for program improvement

+ Develops risk and control processes, understands requirements to develop test procedures, executes on testing and validates results, conducts root cause and impact analysis (where applicable), partners with the business to identify recommendations and writes executive reports

+ Documents test results, and reporting metrics up to senior leaders and within GRC Tool and/or central repository
