Quality of all components is maintained by each machine operator using statistical quality control methods and defined in the work standard.
Changeovers and adjustments exacting, but not difficult.
Work to specifications, schedules, orders and general instructions of department group leader or supervisor.
Perform preventive maintenance inspection before the start of each shift as outlined on the Preventive Maintenance Check Sheet. Apply oil or grease to specified areas. Confirm the operability of all detectors.
The ability to perform a more comprehensive PM on the machines including but not limited to oil changes.
Basic troubleshooting of chain assembly equipment to understand the alarm messages, identify what this issue is and how to correct the issue.
Adhere to work standards and statistical quality control methods must be followed.
Must have complete knowledge of the cold header equipment, cold forging, bushing forming, and pin cut-off work standards and SQC methods.
Adhere to work standard. Responsible for maintaining production schedules, quality control records, and accurate reporting of production volumes. Refers any unusual problems to the departmental supervisor.
Prepare test samples for quality control per work standard.
Record production, traceability, and any other data required utilizing various forms as directed.
Utilize machine-monitoring system to record down time.
Use material handling devices such as hand truck, hydraulic lift truck.
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow standard safety regulations.
Detect faulty operation or defective material and report these and other unusual conditions to group leader or supervisor.
Perform other similar and associated duties as required or directed.
Requirements:

The Machine Learning Engineer II will be a member of the Learning and Active Perception (LEAP) group in AV's MacCready Works division and support the development of a variety of innovative computer vision capabilities (object detection, classification, localization, and tracking) and other image/video analytics for defense and commercial applications. These development efforts require a range of skills and tools across traditional engineering, computer science, and mathematical disciplines including but not limited to data management, computer vision, machine learning, optimization, and deep convolutional neural networks. This position will span multiple stages of the development process including requirements gathering, algorithm design, prototyping, test and evaluation, and validation and verification testing. This specific role also involves on-site support for experimentation and fielded systems requiring a significant amount of extended travel, both domestic and international.
Duties
• Support development of computer vision and machine learning (ML) algorithms capable of object detection, classifying, localizing, and tracking objects of interest from a variety of stationary and mobile sensor platforms with the primary purpose of real-time automated target recognition (ATR)
• Perform visual imagery data science to inform data collection, data labeling, and data selection for training deep computer vision ML algorithms, train the algorithms using the data, and validate data selection and algorithm design through a series of purpose-designed experiments. This includes:
o Analyze ML algorithms to solve a given problem and rank them by their success probability on new data
o Set objectives and develop models that help achieve them, along with metrics to track their progress
o Select appropriate datasets and data representations
o Analyze errors of the data, model, and design strategies to overcome them
• Write and test software to support the integration of machine learning algorithms into aircraft (such as autopilots, payloads, or other functional components) or other systems

Experience

This position is expected to conduct penetration testing activities on High Value Asset (HVA) systems owned and operated by federal civilian agencies. SkyePoint Decisions is seeking a Red Team Operator/Penetration Tester for our customer. The Red Team Operator executes sophisticated adversary emulation exercises designed to test the customer's security controls, processes, and personnel against real-world attack scenarios. This highly technical role requires expertise across multiple offensive security disciplines to simulate the tactics, techniques, and procedures of nation-state actors and advanced threat groups targeting diplomatic infrastructure. Working under the Red Team Lead's direction, the Red Team Operator conducts objective-based attack simulations that provide realistic assessment of defensive capabilities while supporting the broader Purple Team framework for continuous security improvement.
This position is onsite in Beltsville, MD.
Responsibilities:
Technical Offensive Operations:
Execute multi-phase attack simulations following MITRE ATT&CK framework methodology
Perform comprehensive penetration testing across network infrastructure, web applications, and endpoints
Conduct privilege escalation, lateral movement, and persistence activities within approved scope
Emulate specific threat actor TTPs based on intelligence provided by CTI Cell
Maintain detailed logs of all actions taken during engagements for post-exercise analysis
Specialized Attack Techniques:
Develop and deploy custom exploits and tools for unique infrastructure
Conduct wireless network assessments and attacks against facilities
Perform physical security assessments including badge cloning, lock picking, and facility infiltration
Execute advanced evasion techniques to test security tool effectiveness
Research and implement zero-day and emerging attack methodologies
Purple Team Collaboration:
Participate in collaborative Purple Team debriefs with SOC Blue Team analysts
